PS3 Console Total Powered On Time (WebMAN Mod 1.47.25.3+ feature)

CechA01 that was on OFW 2.60 I updated to 3.55.4 rebug first and then straight to 4.91.2 Evilnat. The console had been on for about an hour with the updates. Easiest jailbreak ever. I opened it up and it was super clean. I didn’t delid and I just replaced the thermal pasted and added booters...

    PS3 Old firmware advice

I finally got around to jailbreaking my PS3 that was on OFW 2.60. Thanks everyone for the help. It was so simple. I just updated to rebug 3.55.4 then went straight to Evilnat 4.91.2. Thanks again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    PS3 Old firmware advice

I’m really glad it worked out for you. I still have yet to dive into this yet. I think I’m going to soon. I asked NSC about this a while back in his YouTube channel and this was his response. Do you think that installing Roger’s over the 3.55 OFW then the QA flag is a safety measure? Sent...

[FAQ] Updating Sony consoles from USB (PS3/PS4/PS5/PSP/PSTV)

I am getting ready to do this with my PS3 on OFW 2.80. I spoke with NSC about year ago about this and this was his suggestion. Evilnat, is there any other precautions one should take before going through the process of updating from OFW below 3.55? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So are you saying that if you have a console that’s under FW 3.55 you can install CFW directly? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

PS3 Frankenstein PHAT PS3: CECHA with 40nm RSX

I appreciate you taking measurements. At the time I had my system apart I never thought to do that. Is there a reputable 3-D printing service that would make this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

PS3 Frankenstein PHAT PS3: CECHA with 40nm RSX

Here’s what I found my A01 years later after sending it to Sony. A lightning strike fried it a week after I brought it home December 2006. I sent it in under warranty, got it back and enjoyed it for 6 years. Opened it years later to find this behind the CPU. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

PS3 Frankenstein PHAT PS3: CECHA with 40nm RSX

I look forward to seeing you post these on your eBay! I’ll pay for this service whenever you get back to work. I have an A01 that’s never been open and is not in use. I’m in the “anyone else” category because I’ve been following the progress of this thread but haven’t contributed any knowledge...

    PS3 4.88.2 Evilnat Cobra (8.3) Custom FirmWare (CFW-CEX) Released

I was on Rebug 4.84 cex and updated to 4.88.2 last night from the XMB with no issues. And like Aldo said it’s a good idea to have your QA toggled just in case you want to downgrade back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
