I booted up BlackRhino Linux, it worked fine I just got bored of it.

I've been moving my hdd from ps2 to ps2. I put FMCB on the memory cards and then keep them with the ps2 and move the hdd over.

I got the linux booting up but only from the USB drive so didn't get as far as trying to install. Getting it HDD running is a big part of it I think to overcome speed issues.

I'm guessing most of the buzz games take the same file layout. Does anyone know which one contains the questions list and how to edit them?

I'm about to have a go at adding the openBOR v3 build 6391 to the pal large from here and then running it via usb, it will be slower to load than a streamlined hdd install but if it works someone who knows how to chop about linux faster than me might take it up as a weekend project to removed...
