For completeness... the current Retroarch distribution and its cores can no longer be compiled with the old Sony SDK.
Fortunately, the Crocods core can be compiled with the old Sony SDK and above all compatible with the old version of Retroarch which I can still compile.
However, the current...
Because neocd is written using C+11 and old sdk sony isn't C+11 compliant.
But you can play neocd games using FBNEO core: put bin/cue games inside a folder named neocd

Install this PKG to verify if you have Dynarec enabled and its version.
In my case i still have Cobra 8.3, so no new payloads (MAPI CORE Verison: 291, MAPI FW Version: 1161).

Dynarec options (In game menu -> Options -> Performance -> Dynamic Recompilers) are disabled by default.
If you have Mamba 8.4, or when you will have Cobra 8.4, with PS3 MAPI...
Picodrive updated with latest changes by @OsirisX to have Dynarec for 32x Sega games.
Dynarec options (In game menu -> Options -> Performance -> Dynamic Recompilers) are disabled by default.
If you have Mamba 8.4, or when you will have Cobra 8.4, with PS3 MAPI enabled, enable dynarec and enjoy.
My assertion was wrong, i found that option. It's enabled by default and it is visible only if it starts a 32x game. I will compile Pico with default "disabled". :encouragement:
