Subtitles work, but you have to get into opensubtitles add-on and introduce your account and password (verified in android version not ps3).

I don't know if this is possible but what about if you have for example a 5tb HDD and you make 2 partitions. One 2tb NTFS ( ISO) for PS3 and 3tb exfat for PS4. I guess you need MBR for PS3 but PS4 is fine with GPT.

My first guess is it has to do with your PS3's models. My old phats behave slightly different than my slim when it comes to emulation.
