I think that you should remove it and replace it with an HDD. SSD's are notorious for causing a wide range of issues on PS3 systems. An HDD is slower, but better for your PS3.
You cannot play GTA Online on PS3 with your friends who have the game on PC. The PS3 version of GTA Online is not the latest version, and GTA Online does not have crossplay functionality.

Give yourself time to think about solutions to your problem. I can't be of much help because I don't know what patch menu caused your MW2 game to stop booting and I am not familiar with both MW2 and said patch menu.

Unfortunately, you cannot install CFW offline while using OFW 4.90.
However, you can install CFW offline after downgrading your PS3 to OFW 3.55 or lower. I am not knowledgeable about how to downgrade PS3 systems though, so I am not able to assist you with doing so.
You may have better luck getting a solution to your problem by asking for help (if possible) on the website you downloaded your MW2 patch menu from. Did you download it from a forum?
