PS2 [Tutorial] The Great PS2 AIO Guide

Well, Sata to ide board doesn't give you any real benefit in terms of performance. But sata drives are far more easier to get hold of than an IDE drive. You also have the benefit of being able to attach it to your PC for faster content transfers, dependant on what connectors you have on your...

PS2 [Tutorial] The Great PS2 AIO Guide

One thing I can advice here is looking up compatibility. Internal HDD - Best game compatibility. Network shares - Good game compatibility. USB HDD - Poor game compatibility. So, if you decide not to use an internal HDD, the amount of games you can play drops significantly

PS2 [Tutorial] The Great PS2 AIO Guide

You don't need ide to sata. The sata board is only for if your using a sata hdd. Really, its personal preference. FMCB and FHDB do the same thing apart from one residing in a memory card and the other in a HDD

PS3 Console Total Powered On Time (WebMAN Mod 1.47.25.3+ feature)

Haha, my theory of sibling rivalry/brash parents isn't so farfetched. That console seems more abuse victim than barely touched gem... Lol

PS3 Console Total Powered On Time (WebMAN Mod 1.47.25.3+ feature)

Not so definitive after all. A sure mystery for now. 3000 cycles is a large number indeed.

PS3 Console Total Powered On Time (WebMAN Mod 1.47.25.3+ feature)

So, the console in questions DOES have a 13 day runtime with 3000 power cycles?

PS3 What is CU and how do I use it with RPCS3?

Haha, now this is a full blown technical reply. And something I always enjoy being corrected on. I am forever learning in these halls

PS3 What is CU and how do I use it with RPCS3?

I agree with this statement. My PC isn't a powerhouse by all means, but it is 6 cores overclocked to 4.8ghz and an OK gpu (R9 280x) and it runs current/last gen console emulators horribly. Unless they have a beastly machine (not to mention RPCS3 is in constant development still) or they are just...

PS3 Console Total Powered On Time (WebMAN Mod 1.47.25.3+ feature)

HDD S.M.A.R.T data is a great shout. Very good suggestion. And something outside of the ps3 specific hardware. I understand the idea of 1000 days being an integer (is that the correct term?) and webman is not interpreting it as it was never meant to read anything past 1000 days. Kinda sinilar...

    Glitchy Screen on Progressive Scan

Just to clarify, you are using a component cable. It has 5 plugs, L/R audio (red and white) and 3 for YPbPr (red, green and blue). If you are using the correct cable. Are you sure your TV supports it (I haven't seen many CRT TVs with component inputs nor progressive scan, the "p" in 480p)...

    ARSEHOLE FRIENDS

I totally forgot CoD Zombies... That was an extreme exception, I played that to death with my buds. Bo2, Buried was amazing. I like the evolution from the simplicity of WaW zombies to the complex maps and task of later games. I was and still am a huge retro multilayer games player. Those...

PS4 PS4 Jailbreak 7.02 is now a reality, but various things (like Mira) still need ported to 7.02

No idea, my Ps4 is on OFW 8.00. I was just here for the comedy factor

    ARSEHOLE FRIENDS

I spent a whole year of my life playing World of Warcraft everyday.... Without fail. When I finally realised the amount of money I was pissing away for no reason and the locked in feeling of always having to pay (if you stop paying, you stop playing. All progress lost. Only the next lump of...
