i got a ssd drive in my ps3 slim and no problems at all with evilnats cfw 4.88. :)
and it depends on the games and all, but for example installing all GT6 patches (ingame) takes more then a few hours less then with the HDD installed. for psn games, which run only from hdd/ssd it's a benefit for...
nothing confusing about it, just don't do it like before, there is no need for reactPSN.
install the cfw, go into network > cfw settings > activate account and your done. your PS3 is now "activated" and your game will run just fine.
everything is working fine for me, even playing psn games without having to login. thank you evilnat and everyone who was involved in this, including the testers. finally i can enjoy my new ps3 :)

got a CECH-2504b this week and while idling in mmCM for like 30 minutes, i already had like 69°-70° on both cell and rsx with stock fan speed.

i thought that maybe, since the jailbreak is on the flash memory, it won't get touched even with an newer official firmware and so i still could go back on any CFW version i want. even on 4.88, as long as i did a jailbreak before going on 4.88.
