    I tried to replicate, but I am now getting 8001002b Which looking off your list, there's a I/O error? Is this the HDD? Just an FYI : My BD ribbon is a bit dodgy, could it be that?

    Got my old PS3 out of my storage and attempted to update it. Version before attempting update : 4.0.0 Tried REBUG_CRC[e34df8da]_FW[v4.84.2_RE]_PS3UPDAT.PUP inside the system update area on XMB. Got to about 80% on the second part and it exited with an error. (8000 something) Will now only...
