yea, unfortunately I had to delete my save and start the dlcs from scratch... lesson learned, I guess: never take too long to sync your trophies :angel:

No worries! Also, you don't actually need to be connected to the PSN in order to do all this, so there's no risk at all if you stay offline! Just turn off automatic login if you want to be extra sure.

I go online with HEN all the time for like 2 or 3 years now and never had any troubles! Just don't mess with fake trophies or cheats and you'll be totally fine, I doubt Sony cares by now. The easiest way to recover these saves would be to install HEN on your old ps3, back up the xregistry.sys...

wish I had good news, but nope! It was something with the RSX, needed a reballing. I kept it alive with the penny trick for a few months but had to buy a new ps3 eventually because games were freezing a lot and the GLOD got worse before it died for real :sorrow:

Thanks! My PS3 arrived today and I was able to restore everything this way. Thankfully I didn't get any BSOD, rebuilding the database did the trick without any problems.

Is Battlefield 3 fine to play? the servers are going down later this year and I wanted to try it before that

Nah, just don't mess with cheats or fake trophies and you're good. I go online all the time.

what do you mean by incomplete? have you installed webman MOD or any other homebrew app at all? you need to do that manually since they don't come with the jailbreak itself.

hi, will the xregistry file also work on another ps3 in order to restore accs and saves there? Or is that feature exclusive to the console it was taken from?

btw, aldo launched a new update for webman mod (1.47.46c) that seemed to fix this problem. Maybe you could try it out when you get the chance :)

I have done this procedure but now I don't know how to remove the pkg under "Blu-ray and DVD" on WMM games folder, even though I deleted it from my USB already. The path shows "Ntfs0/BDISO/PKG" but there's nothing there: webman mod still recognizes it. Any ideas?

if you were able to log in with a new PSN account, then that console hasn't been banned. You can't do that in a banned console unless you use a new IDPS.
