I know this is big news for people on 1.76 but I'm hoping Fail0verflow is right when they say "We also have no doubt that vulnerabilities in the latest firmware can be found without too much trouble." Source
Ahh damn, I didn't realize that. Well in that case I might as well stick with the built in PS2 feature in Rebug. Thanks for the info Joonie & for your tireless efforts in the PS3 scene, rebug and non rebug related alike.
bugerville, thanks for the quick response I really appreciate the help...
I'm running into an error trying to install this on Rebug Rex 4.78.1. I'm trying to install it so I can load PS2 ISO's without the need for a launcher but keep receiving the error below, can anyone help me out please?

That's what I'm trying to figure out, I have an sealed/unopened Arkham Knight bundle from the original run (not sure if the latest are a second run or not) but don't want open it just to check the FW. I'm sure this info will come out eventually.
This is awesome! Does anyone know if theres a list of what FW shipped on which models? I checked the PS4 dev wiki but it doesn't have the FW versions listed.
I'm aware of that and thats why I went through the steps to switch to MultiMan mode and converted a game to classic but still received the error which is why I switched back to this 1.03 placeholder. Regardless, it's all functioning properly now so no worries. I appreciate your help!
I followed the steps outlined to install and activate the launcher. I then launched into Tetris which worked and kept me synced, next I mounted Dave Mirra BMX 2 via MultiMan and launched it using the new launcher here and when I turned the controller on after the game launched it failed to sync...
I tried this last night because I can't seem to get memory card's working with the Rebug launcher. I found that although when I launched into Tetris I had no problem with the sync but once I launched an actual ISO the sync was broken again and I was too tired to even check the memory cards. I'll...
bitsbubba you are the freakin' man for these! I am not sure if it requires PSN (pardon my ignorance) but would there be any way to add the HBOGo app to this growing list? Thanks again for all the great apps along with your great tools!
The one I downloaded was the one from the original post that was located under the quote box outlining your existing No-PSN apps; the working install PKG is hosted on mediafire and has the filename of 'EP0001-NPEB02214_00-0000000000000000.pkg' additionally it weighs in at 40.87 MB.
The pkg that was attached to the initial post here on psx-place. If you'd like more info I can get you the MD5 when I get home later tonight, just let me know.
I can confirm the attached PKG file is working even on a North American system. I was unable to delve into the hex editing as I didn't have the time but once I installed the attached UK version (it installs alongside any existing versions from other regions without problem) I was able to launch...
I recently found my old PSP 1000 and was hoping I could use something akin to the PS3netserv feature. I have all of my games backed up on my computer but only have a 1GB me card so I'm trying to figure out a way to play all my games without the need for the UMDs or purchasing a larger memory...
I've tried ps3 media server but hated the bulkiness and bloat that seemed to be built into the software, additionally I've been using Plex for over 5 years and it's great because I have multiple users and libraries as well as the ability to access my media anywhere in the wild provided I have a...
Alright guys and gals the day has come and Plex has officially launched their PS3 app in North America (finally!) and I'm in a bind in which I believe the scene may be able to help. I'm hoping to find out if there is a possible solution or workaround to using the Plex app without the need to...
