Plex PS3 Without PSN/SEN?

Alright guys and gals the day has come and Plex has officially launched their PS3 app in North America (finally!) and I'm in a bind in which I believe the scene may be able to help. I'm hoping to find out if there is a possible solution or workaround to using the Plex app without the need to sign into PSN/SEN. I know there are workarounds for other streaming apps out there but I use my Plex server almost exclusively for all of my content and I'd really love to utilize the app (no knock to Showtime which I've been using and has been great) without potentially being banned. I've paid Sony their money for MY console and I've paid for a lifetime PlexPass membership so why am I being penalized for wanting to use these two things I've rightfully and legally purchased? I know that I can't be the only one in this spot and I'm hoping that someone may find this and get inspired to help on out. I have found the folder in which the app is installed 'hdd0/game/NPUP31350' and this is a screenshot of the folder structure (with the exception of the theme resources) http://i.imgur.com/BOMapXU.png . I would love to help in any capacity possible so if someone is willing to tackle this and would like assistance please let me know. Thanks to all in advance!

i have no clue, but maybe there is hope, youtube app for ps3 also needed to be connected to psn for it to work but someone patched it and it works without psn

YT trick relies on the fact that the YouTube app is just a web browser, and that it loads a page if you aren't logged in. From your screenshot i see there is no easy solution for "no psn" Plex. Maybe in index.html is something, but i think there is too many sprx's for that simple hack.

i always use plex thru my ps3 streaming from my computer you
dont need to be connected to sen a bit sluggish sometimes
best to use ps3 media server

I've tried ps3 media server but hated the bulkiness and bloat that seemed to be built into the software, additionally I've been using Plex for over 5 years and it's great because I have multiple users and libraries as well as the ability to access my media anywhere in the wild provided I have a cell or wifi connection on my phone. I love using it with Showtime because I have yet to run into any issues with it but I'm just a bit upset that there is now a dedicated app that I rightfully have access to but must connect to SEN to use it which to me makes zero sense. I'm just trying to get the most use out of the device and software I've rightfully paid for.
