I'll be getting an ethernet cable soon. Would you still not recommend updating to 4.88 hfw? Or is it oay if i upgrade to 4.88 officially and then install 4.88 hfw? i really don't know how it all works ngl

I have a PS3 super slim which runs on 4.82, because of a busted wifi/Bluetooth board, I cannot access the browser for HEN installation. Due to COVID restrictions in my country I cannot also buy an ethernet cable for more than a month. I however have internet access on my laptop, and got 4.88...
