Thanks for the quick reply, I did check how the thermal paste was spread and it was a bit too thin. After repasting the temps were a bit lower (~68 C on CPU), but I guess I can't expect much better, it's summer after all.

Hi guys, so I have SlimCECH2004b (the 65nm one) and my cpu is running really hot. RSX tops out at about 50 C while cpu will keep climbing until auto fan kicks in at about 70 C. This all happens after i cleaned and repasted my ps3 and set fan to 40% in webman. So what should i do? Try delidding...
