Oh Great, another person posting non helpful advice to the question. If he is a Moderator, then he should be Moderating and not chiming on a problem he can't answer. I was gonna ask about the problem on Reddit, but didn't want to deal with BS answers. I guess this forum is no different.

Even if you downloaded a Save file from an Account that was created before 2019 ... it won't be any good to you because to use the Save file you must Resign it to your Account created after 2019 .. which defeats the purpose of what you want to achieve. I've used PS3 Save Resigner many times ...

pkg games and apps get installed to /dev_hdd0/game if you don't know which folder (the title ID) the corrupted pkg is .. use a program like PS3 PKG Viewer to get the title ID (which will also be in the PARAM.SFO file)
