When I plug an hdd, it doesnt do anything..

I May change the motherboard, but I cant find this motherboard...

Hi, I want to change the laser on my ps2 slim which is hardware moded (it isn't mobdo chip). If I change the laser, will it still moded?

O or if I buy a nor chip and apply it and flash it??? I don't know..

Neither if I buy e3 flasher? I just want to have image on screen and install the fw from sony, i don't care if it is saying, blah blah.. System software is corrupted... blah blah...

It didn't work... I tried to restore to factory settings but it was saying, "The hard drive is inaccsessible" But when I tried to install the hfw... I lost the safe mode option...

But, when I inserted a destroyed blank hdd on my ps3, the hdd led was flashing all the time, but without the hdd the led was flashing for 1 second..but no result... (Sorry for the repeatedly 'but')

Note that I cant boot to safe mode. Any possible fixes??
