...compared to not proofing? After having a broken WiFi module, the only way for me to connect into PSN is by spoofing my 4.92.1 HFW. I know no one can guarantee that connecting is 100% safe, so my question is: does spoofing increase the risk of getting caught compared to connecting with 4.93.1 HFW?

I’m 110% sure I had HFW before trying to update, but with how things are going, I’m not sure if and how it got back to official one. I just can’t install HEN! Any clue what happened there? It should've kept my HFW intact, but instead it seems it hasn’t. But how is it even possible if the update...

I was on 4.92.1 HFW, and can not install HEN for whatever reason. Everything appears as it was before, all PSN games are there, including MultiMAN, but HEN isn’t available.

I managed to get out of the update loop using this method, but seems like I can't reinstall HEN: https://www.reddit.com/r/PS3/comments/1fwlpt6/fixed_error_8002f1f9_update_loop/ Does it mean it got me back to official firmware? If so, then how?

And I just realized it isn't possible to update a console with a WiFi/Bluetooth failure (I guess the module is dead). Am I screwed? Was trying to update to 4.93.1 HFW on PS3 slim CECH-3003A. Any recommended NoBT CFW I can use?

Thank you guys. So updating from 4.89.1 HFW - should I download and update official FW -> 4.90HFW? Or is it possible to use 4.90HFW and skipping the official update?
