PS3 An error occurred during the update operation (8002F1F9)

And I just realized it isn't possible to update a console with a WiFi/Bluetooth failure (I guess the module is dead).
Am I screwed?
Was trying to update to 4.93.1 HFW on PS3 slim CECH-3003A.
Any recommended NoBT CFW I can use?

NoBT CFW can only be used if your console was on CFW.

HFW is OFW with the vulnerable web browser module reinjected.

Your only option would be to use qCFW or replace the module.

yes, you are back on whatever firmware you were on before the bootloop. this method does not install anything. it just tricks the ps3 into forgetting that the last update failed.

if you were on 4.80 to 4.82 ofw, you can install hen now. if you were on any version of hfw, you can install hen now.

if you were on ofw 4.83 or above, you must fix the broken module before you can use hen.

I was on 4.92.1 HFW, and can not install HEN for whatever reason.
Everything appears as it was before, all PSN games are there, including MultiMAN, but HEN isn't available.

if you run the official installer, it will say "NaN" when it fails due to not having hfw.

if you are sure you are on hfw, try the alternate or autohen installers that i host HERE. they use different methods than the official installers.

I'm 110% sure I had HFW before trying to update, but with how things are going, I'm not sure if and how it got back to official one.
I just can't install HEN!

Any clue what happened there? It should've kept my HFW intact, but instead it seems it hasn't.
But how is it even possible if the update process wasn't even finished?!

Update: after swapping HDD, the console allows to install HEN with a new one.
But once I put back my old HDD, it won't let me.

Update 2: I managed to go back to HEN after doing the process again using the HFW PUP. Hope it helps somebody in the future.
