Thanks. I ended up just downloading all the separate update PKG files and stored them with my games. This way I have them for future use. Thanks for the updates and feedback though.

I have a PS3 that I have setup with all my games, roms and other customizations. Can I backup the entire internal hard drive so that I can restore to another PS3 if needed instead of having to install everything again? I have 4.91 Evilnat beta 10

I got it working, but why not use an SSD? I had a 1TB laying around and I have another PS3 I setup with one and it's been going strong for a while. What's the issue?

It wont boot into that mode when the drive is in. I am goign to remove it and format it to FAT32 and reinstall it and try this again. Not sure what the issue is. System was fine so this has to do with the software/ssd combination.

When I remove the SSD and boot the console the screen will say there is no appropriate storage media found. If I plug it in and reboot the TV says no signal. Any ideas?
