@aldostools i managed to find the category_game.xml
I changed the file and moved to the <View id="root">
under this position
<Query
class="type:x-xmb/folder-pixmap"
key="gameDir2"
attr="gameDir2"
src="sel://localhost/ex?root.view_selected.game"...
now can someone explain HOW did this guy delid a super slim
well for a start his model looks different from mine already as I can see from the RSX
I assume that the cell in his model has a lid like the slim because I can't imagine someone cutting on a cell like on my model...
UPDATE:
got a ps3 super slim and I couldn't be happier with the console, it is in great condition and it is WAY more silent
the RSX already comes without a lid and the cell is probably better soldered and ultra-tight I couldn't delid it even if I wanted to
I already changed to a high quality...
I just got a ps3 super slim and modded it with Hen 4.87 everything is working fine
but this new hen made 2 changes that didn't happen before
1 is that I can't create any folders, I set up the album name under the game's information but no album is created
2 is that all of my original...
@sandungas @snkplkn @Cosmic-R
just to clear my mind
is it possible to remove this broken CELL and replace it with another from another broken ps3?
it's a shame because the board is in a condition so good, no oxidation no bad capacitors... I don't want to throw it away :cold:
Actually i wanted to delid because temps were pretty high already 65+ idle and close to 70 when playing
Also i knew that the best way to prevent YLOD is having the system run as cool as possible so no it wasn't to be adventurous it was just regular maintenance
Hopefully i'll be better of with...
I am sad to say that me too got caught by the soldered CELL
what is most intriguing is that I watched lots of delid videos and many CELLs with the "bumps" were succesfully delid, I also saw the video from NSC where he said that the chip had probably melted from overheating... I wish I had saw...
