Same here, retroarch and other emulators do not sound correctly on PS2. One example of this is the NES emulator fceum, which has some bad slowdown regards to the sound.

Thanks for trying to compile it. I just was trying to see if I could play some old Game Boy games on PS2 using my PS2 formatted hard drive. I guess I will stick to emulator on PC for the handheld GB, GBC, and GBA consoles.

This version of InfoGB seems to be a lot better than the one that is for either the internal hard drive or USB, because both freeze on my PS2 when trying to load the emulator for the first time. I can see the boot screen, but cannot go further than that as it gets stuck checking the hard drive.

SalvoGamer. Thanks for asking this question as I am also having some bugs, particularly the same as you, where it does not go past the splash screen during the time which it loads the hard drive. I had a slightly older version of FreeHDBoot a few weeks ago and it did not exhibit this bug. Anyone...
