wow that actually looks reasonable. i couldnt find anyone with a flasher here but someone did offer to replace the wifi module. ill probably take it to their shop now since i know its not that expensive.

i was thinking of taking it to a shop that does "downgrading" services (i assume they reflash the firmware and install cfw with a flasher for you) but im not sure if thats the right solution

i got an old non modded ps3 for cheap with the network error 80010201. i assumed it was a simple error but i couldnt find a way to make it connect to the internet. is there still a method to install cfw offline without requiring a connection?

i brought it to a friend who replaced it with some melamine cleaning foam

it does that both plugged in and wireless but turns out it was the foam piece in the controller. i guess it came loose during the transport. i replaced it and it’s working fine now.
