copy the binary to an USB or MMCE device SD card and execute it with wLaunchELF
After a few second of software setup, the program will inform the specs of the XFROM and proceed to copying it's contents to a raw binary file located on the same dir than the program
the filename is: PSX#_@@@@@@@@_xfrom.bin
where '#' is the generation of your PSX (1 or 2) and the @'s your PSX serial number (this should be enough to avoid dumps overriding...)
NOTE: at the end I have decided to skip the PSX check... this program could run on a normal ps2 although nothing will happen.
Why? because sony envisioned adding the XFROM no normal network adapters (hence why PS2 SCPH-50xxx have XFROM drivers on bios and it's OSDSYS coded to also look for updates inside the xfrom)
so, if you find a network adapter that looks official but unusual or not like the ones everyone has, give it a shot with this app. if a network adapter with xfrom shows up, it will be worth a LOT
