PS3 4.66 HABIB v1.00 (w/ Cobra 7.03)

Custom Firmware Developer HABIB has released his latest CFW with HABIB 4.66 v1.00, that is equipped with COBRA 7.03 feature and the ability to Toggle on and off the cobra payload. Also in this CFW build is deank's new Anti ODE Cobra Patches that has improved Game Compatibility on many problem games for Cobra User's. As long as you are QA flagged you can just re-install 4.65 if not install Habib's QA toggle app and enable QA flag, do the button combo and enable system update debug. Then you can easily got from any CFW to another regardless if it is higher or lower then the one you are on at anytime.

 

Hey! I would have never thought of swapping out the PSP emu files. I'll give it a shot. And you say PSP works well on Vita TV? Doesn't it still render 272p? I'd totally pick one up if it did PSP decently.

Hi guys, I'm new here and have a quick question. I just updated from habit 4.65 to having 4.66. Now when I turn on my ps I get a message saying firmware not supported. Just wondering why.

That's puzzling.
Besides everything you've just said can you explain where does that message appear ?
In the center, in the upper right , in a white box ...
Or better, publish an image of it.
I bet you may be using some plugin that is not updated to work in 4.66...

That's what I thought
You just need to update one of the plugins in you have installed (probably webman - use webman updater),
there's nothing to do with the CFW !

 

I don't believe I have webman. Don't I do still have habib's toolbox from 4.65 installed. Might that be the issue?

 

To check that you have webman or other plugins. Go to dev_hdd0 and check that you have webftp_server.sprx or boot_plugins.txt file. Habib toolbox is app, not plugin, this cant be problem. Only plugins can start with system.

Nope upscales all PSP games to HD brother. It is well worth the $100.

I got the Walmart bundle that cost $120 comes with two games, a DS3, HDMI cable, and a memory card. Well worth the $40 extra as its over $85 worth if extras. I got it around the holidays so I got $20 off and paid just under $100 with taxes as my girlfriends dad got it for me with his employee discount. Well really only cost me $25 as I got a $75 coupon but I still highly suggest the bundle as a memory card can be pricey for the Vita and a backup DS3 for the PS3 is nice, the Vita TV can also use a DS4 if you have one.

 

Another issue I'm having besides the firmware not supported message is I can't update my games.

 

Wait, after a update of cfw is there anything else I need to do? Total noob question, but I'm a total noob so, do I need to rebuild database from recovery mode or anything after going from 4.65 cfw to 4.66 cfw?
