PS3 4.70 HABIB-COBRA v1.00 (CEX) CFW

Following up the release of 4.70 HABIB (CEX) Standard CFW a couple of weeks ago, custom firmware (CFW) developer HABIB has a new Cobra CFW that he has released to the PS3 community.. 4.70 HABIB-COBRA (Starbucks) v1.00 (CEX) CFW comes with an updated Cobra (v7.10) that has improved the Controller Sync Issues on PS2 ISO for the user's who has experienced issues on the previous fixes. Also the addition of the recently [break]ss[/break] updated PS3 Manager API (PS3M_API) Core to v1.2.0 has been applied to this firmware. Improvements to PSX Games on Cobra and a bit more can be seen in the information provided below:

When you disable LED it causes another bug that makes fan stay with one speed which can cause YLOD on old phat systems

I don't have solution for audio glitching with iris payload

 

Iris payload when is rnabled led with control fan cause a bug audio in the games

AHA!. so thats whats i was experiencing. but i dont think it was in all the games though but was really bad in FIFA15. sometimes it causes the game to freeze.

 

That's why I don't trust fan controllers lol.
Hate it when apps enable that crap by default and risk my system.
None of them work right on my console anyway. (cechl02)
New console will probably go under water for shits n giggles.

 

i always use fan control of webman, and no issues...

In the question of corrupt data / save files, is not because of cfw but because of cobra version 7.02. it happens only in few games

 

Turns my console into a jet engine in safe mode and makes the console too loud for normal use.
More chance of killing my fan then helping my console.
Means I cant tinker with different firmwares late at night without waking the house up!
Easily disabled though, webman is worth it.
Gamesonic or whatever it is sent it doubly nuts so I just uninstalled that instantly.

Is there any tool box for this habib cobra cfw. I tried installing rebug tool box but it didnt work properly. Just asking though, even if it sounds dumb.

PS3 Cech 2501A, installed the CFW 4.70 Habib snake, well, my PS2 games 90% did not take more are giving black screen or turning off the PS3, the other 10% take only with the control connected to the PS3, my PS1 and PSP are all giving black screen, both in multiman as the webman MOD 1:41:31, only PS3 games folder or ISOs go well, what would be the solution to this problem ??? back to CFW 4:46 Habib v1.03 Cobra ????

 

You need to write more about your issue. psx/ps2/psp games are isos or classic etc.

If ps2 games are classics you can change ps2emu with some app, or go thru sync tutorial here on site (if you have no iso is better to swap emu)

If psx games are retroxmb customs you need to update reload.self from latest irisman.

If your games are Isos and working before update i have no idea what happen.

 

Kozarovv, yes, but all .ISOs caught normally after upgrading to CFW 4.70 Habib snake stopped working, the .ISOs are PS1-PS2PSP all are with black screen, the unique who get are only 10% of | ISOs PS2 and even then only with conectato control, already replayed the CFW several times, the problem persists more when ISOs do not give black screen, hangs or freezes the PS3, how can I fix this problem ??? About your ps3 games, you need to delete all ps3 game data that cause black screen issue, previous cobra ran games with corrupted incomplete game data, new cobra requires clean game data installation like non cobra system, it fixes the issue with non working games with previous cobra build, so therefore you will have 100% ps3 backup compatiblity.

Joonie, thanks for replying, but the question mine, are for PSP-PS1-PS2 games, all PS3 games are plain to me in format folder or .ISO, the question of PS1 black screen for all games on the server (PC ISO format or BIN) or within the PS3, PS2 games 90% of my games not take over, lock the console and give or black screen, and the other 10% of PS2 games only take with conectato cable control without the cable not take, and the PSP the same thing happens, lock the console and just off manually ... the funny thing was that the CFW-Habib COBRA 4:46 v1.03 and all games were running normally after have mudaddo to 4.70 snake-Habib, only have PS3 games now, both network (PC .ISO format) as the console paste, for me the PS3 games are well ...

 

Yesterday i tried playing fight night champion on habib cobra and its was laggy as hell, almost unplayable. then i tried to continue my shadow of modor game but noticed that all my previous games were not autosaved. so installed Darknet cobra to be sure and played shadow of modor and it was autosaving again. though the fight night champion was still very much laggy and unplayable, any ideas as to why or is there any fix out there.

If you're jumping from 4.65 or earlier try to delete game data (not saves) and install again. You have FN:C on external or internat? Iso or Folder?

I installed a new drive and formatted from rebug 4.65v2 to reinstall habib standard 4.70 -> habib cobra 4.70 -> darknet cobra 4.70. I have FN:C on internal BLUS30608 folder.
