PS3 4.70 Spoof for PS3ITA CFW (4.50 DEX, 4.50 DEX COBRA, 4.55 DEX)

Custom Firmware Developer Rancid-O has released a 4.70 SPOOF for PS3ITA 4.50 DEX, 4.50 DEX COBRA, 4.55 DEX CFW. Simply Download "cfw setup v4.9.9" and follow the installation instructions provided in the quote below from the developer and you will be spoofed to the latest firmware, but be warned there is a risk of a PSN ban and a bit of an unknown of what is detectable if anything has changed since the PSN changes that affected spoofed CFW user's earlier in the week.[break]s[/break]

4.70 Spoof for PS3ITA CFW-

We only found a way to make a true spoof to fw 4.70!

The VSH has not been replaced with that of the firmware 4.66 (or similar crap), we only applied a small patch at VSH (two NOP and the magic is done)
The spoof is compatible with the following CFW PS3ITA: 4.50 DEX, 4.50 DEX COBRA, 4.55 DEX.
You can install it using the new version of CFW Setup (v.4.9.9).

Installation is very simple:

• Download CFW Setup v4.9.9 from here: Download PKG / Download SRC
• Install it on your PS3
• Run it
• Select the option "Install Spoof 4.70″
• Wait the restart of console
• Enjoy

Got a instant ban after login. Shit... Anybody confirm?

 

There are new certs, new changes, some unknown.
At this moment, using a version spoofer, not considering all the changes introduced in 4.70, is asking to be banned !
We should wait for the new cfws (that already started to appear).

I don't ever take CFW online. The two were never meant to be together. Lost a PSID once and not willing to risk another though I have a spare just in case. Shame you guys got banned though sorry to hear that. I lost all my PSN content license after that and was exteremly ticked off. Thank goodness for ReActPSN and PSNPatch.

Keeping a console off psn is the same as a ban.. .. If you respect the network you should be allowed to use it. if you disrespect the network you should be banned. What firmware your running should have no bearing. your actions should be what gets you banned. They advertise all the online features on the content you buy and you pay for those features in many cases you should be able to use them as well. Because you run CFW should not matter in my opinion..).

Agreed but Sony doesn't see this as so. I don't agree with it myself but I also don't really like online gaming either. I just like the ability to download a game from the comfort of my couch when being lazy. Once I paid for that banned or not should be mine. But we have so many of the services liberated from PSN now anyhow.

I used to stay off psn since i jailbroke my ps3 on 3.41 but since july 2014 i toght why not try to use it because as you say, staying off psn is the same as ban, so since then i'm playing a few games without cheating, so i think that if you dont cause too much problems you can use psn with low ban risk.

 

I use PSN just not for games I use the store but online gaming just isn't worth losing all my content again. I have a few spare IDPS just in case they ban me for buying content again from the store. I had never played a game online only used Netflix, Hulu and bought games but still got banned.

 

I got banned about 2.5 years ago. Got another ID and started using PSN with care and have been gaming every week without a ban for about 1 year 2 months. One just needs to be careful and patient when it comes to changes like these. Thanks to all the devs who are looking into these changes.

2 Friends got banned too WITHOUT Spoofing. One guy has used only psninja v4. Today: BANNED - The another Guy has run 1 time homebrew online (idiot). Today: BANNED.
I use a spoofed 4.70 every time i use PSN Patch. Today: NOT BANNED
