PS3 4.75 CFW -- FERROX (Standard-CEX) by Alexander

Following the recent release of his 4.75 Dual Boot Firmware, developer Alexander has now also released a Standard CEX CFW for firmware 4.75 with the release of "4.75 FERROX v1.00". As many of you know for those of you who do not, this comes with the common standard cfw features as listed in the feature list, No native COBRA CFW features are present in the Custom Firmware but various features such as using background loading plugins & ISO Support can be achieved by the Mamba payload & other homebrew apps/utility on a standard CFW such as this one. when I downgraded my ps3, how come I can't install this cfw or any other cfw. It just says the data is corrupt. I tried re-downloading it how many times and it stiil says that the data is corrupt. I need help.

I can go online using this cfw + webman + sen enabler!!!

But i have a problem, when i try install webman the folders dont appears (the message WEBMAN LOADED appears). I try copy with mmos the file category_game.xml and the folder appears in the xmb, but then disappears again.

this cfw has bugs!!!
my controller disconnects after every boot i dont know why i need to pair agani and again and loaded aw from multiman it doesnt start up only blank screen!!!
waiting for iris man and multiman updtate and also a habib cfw

its only for cfw bro!!! u need e3 flasher to downgrade!!! depending on model number google it up!

I prefer waiting for CCAPI and other Backup Manager to update to do this. Many homebrews still dont work on this version

What do you do after replacing the category_game.xml file?
to use the plugins you need MAMBA/PRX Loader on a standard CFW...it requires /dev_hdd0/mamba_plugins.txt in /dev_hdd0.
The problem is that webMAN MOD installer copy boot_plugins.txt to /dev_hdd0, so you need to rename it to /dev_hdd0/mamba_plugins.txt otherwise webMAN will not loaded

Ciao dino05 e scusate se parlo Italiano con un mio connazionale, mi sembra di aver capito che non vedi la cartella mygames giusto? Questo problema è successo anche a me..! Scompatta webman.pkg e inserisci il category_game.xml manualmente... Be la cartella so già che la conosci quindi evito di dirti come..! ;) Ciao.

Il problema non è mio ma di inuzukaoz. Infatti avevo suggerito di sostituire category_game.xml ed usare quello di Dean ma forse quello del webMAN MOD Installer è migliore.
Poi va ricordato che MAMBA/PRX Loader usa /dev_hdd0/mamba_plugins.txt....e non boot_plugins.txt (altrimneti webMAN non viene caricato)

the issue it is not my but of [MENTION=3005]inuzukaoz[/MENTION], In fact I suggested replacing category_game.xml and use that of Dean but maybe that's webMAN MOD Installer is better.
Then it must be remembered that MAMBA/PRX Loader uses /dev_hdd0/mamba_plugins.txt...and not boot_plugins.txt (otherwise webMAN will not loaded)

ciao dino! il problema si è presentato anche a me, partendo da un hdd "pulito" (senza plugin o file.txt) bisogna prima installare mamba prx loader 2.1.3 ed avviarlo, successivamente webman mod 1.42.x! vedrai che i problema si risolve! installando prima webman mod avrai il problema del file di testo..!

It is not a bug of CFW , but the Backup Manager you are using

my controller lose connevtivity every time i start ps3 and mamba loader cause ps3 to freeze and ps3 temperature is also high! after installing cfw and doing mandatory things it was 74degree

I really appreciate your help man!!! Finally I can discover what's the problem, when I use ofw of Sen enabler the folder my game go away, but I'm using now psnpatch and everything OK.
