actually i don't know how to update the cfw, when i got it, he says it already updated to newer software and everything.
i'm a noob to ps3, and honestly never play ps2 either, just a common pc based gamer.

Hey guys, I'm not new to the scene but I've been gone for far too long. I'm just running into the news that lv0 was permanently hacked or what not. I had cfw back when I believe 3.55 was the only option. I'm on ofw 4.75 right now with model cech-2001a, am I OK to update to cfw4.75 with any of the option on OP?

You need to dowgrade first to 3.55 using hardware flasher.

Hi guys, can you please tell me if the Starbucks 4.75 V1.00 been tested. I have the ps3 super slim 4K. I have OFW 4.55. To install CFW 4.75 must I downgrade to 3.55 OFW or upgrade to OFW 4.75

Yes, downgrade to 3.55, but super slims can not be downgraded so you're out of luck sadly.

Or just sell that ps3 and buy jailbroken one.

Hi so will it not be possible for me to upgrade to OFW 4.75 thereafter load CFW 4.75 and multiman 4.75 Beta to be able to back up my games.

No, any CFW need to be installed on OFW 3.55 or lower. And like [MENTION=12217]Turranius[/MENTION] said, super slin can't be downgraded. So best option is to buy jailbroken one or model that can be downgraded + hardware flasher.
