mmCM will auto install if the manager detects Cobra/Mamba upon loading for the first time.

More of a Cobra / webMAN kind of guy :) so it been awhile since i messed with anything of MAMBA or really much of multiMAN , So thanks for the clarification there ( & bitsbubba) .NzV progress on MAMBA has been great thing to see (with Estwalds original work).

I hope you get time for a cobra version habib. I'm a cobra guy & standard cex cfw just doesn't have the same appeal to me anymore :( But thanks for the work you put into the scene.

Honestly outside of PSP & PS2 ISO loading there isn't to much difference. Ditched using Cobra at all lately due to the new Atremis and when I use Mabma I get all the same benefits as I don't use my PS3 for PSP or PS2 anymore as compatibility is hit or miss. Really only use Cobra/Mamba for ISO and plugins. Thanks to NzV there is a much smaller gap between the two.

I've never used the prx loader or mamba. Does psnpatch do the same job on standard cfw?

I need to look into PS3 Manager API. I've just always used cobra cfw with psnpatch & i've never needed anything else.

Yep it all works and on boot as well.

Okay I installed Habib 4.75 starbucks. Updated my webman mod to the latest 1.42.01 with the updater. I also updated my psnpatch to the latest version. I installed the MAMBA/PRX LOADER (+AUTOLOADER) & heard the one beep, my console restarted. Webman is no longer working so I can't mount my ISO's. Is there something i'm doing wrong?

webMAN MOD Installer was launched after installing MAMBA, so it recognizes...creating mamba_plugins.txt file in dev_hdd0.
MAMBA requires mamba_plugins.txt to start plugins and maybe you've boot_plugoins.txt

EDIT:
If first was on a Cobra CFW:
- Install 4.75 STARBUCKS V1.00 (Standard CEX CFW)
- Install and Launch "MAMBA/PRX Loader 2.1.3", holding X when "MAMBA/PRX Loader" start to install "MAMBA/PRX Autoloader"
- When you are back in the XMB, rename boot_plugins.txt to mamba_plugins.txt (to do this I used mmOS) and restart PS3.
All plugins that were running on Cobra CFW (webMAN, PSNpatch, etc.) they will be again

Thank you for your response. I will try this when I get back in. Just another quick question. Does psnpatch still unload the plugins from memory once activated like on cobra cfw?

Guys, how do I go back to 4.70 CFW after updating to this?

Depends if you were QA flagged prior to upgrading. If your QA flagged just enable system update debug in the QA settings and install a lower firmware just like you did to upgrade. If not you either need to QA flag it use Rogero/ReBug 9.99 downgrade PUP's then install 4.70 again.

for all who are asking for the cobra release and begging habib ; just stop doing that and use MAMBA ; it really works even better than his cobra
we all appreciate and respect his work but he start acting like he's the savior or the god on us
just try mamba it work fluently and it has an autoloader so it load at the startup and WEBMAN or PSNPATCH load automatically and all works great
habib just stop playing the badass on the members and behave modestly

well actually no, as soon as PS2/PSP backup support is added then maybe but for now Cobra is still superior. I don't see why everybody is in such a rush to update (especially with the 4.75 OFW freezing issues) 4.70 works just fine for online/PSN.

for me i dont like the spoofer and for the ps2 backup its not that important like the online/PSN

I'm online streaming Hulu (no fix) right now, I've been using spoofers for online whenever needed since 3.41 (never been banned, RESPECT PSN) nobody knows what they really look for. PSNPatch & webMAN work just fine (my setup is probably just as secure as 4.75). Whenever CFW is released everybody is in such a freakin' hurry to update, truthfully CFW shouldn't even be on PSN. OFW is freezing for legit users, who's to say CFW doesn't have the same issues.

I think ur hatred might be better suited towards ps3iso. I mean they have "payouts every week" for uploaders. that's a damn hard job to be honest. I know that I was able to read copious amounts of information about how the system worked on ps3devwiki while I slept.

PSP and PS2 isos are only not supported. PSP and PS2 backups work without cobra. Just to clear things up. :)
