PS3 4.75 Starbucks v1.00: HABIB's Standard- CEX CFW

Following the recent Official Firmware (OFW) update of 4.75 for the PS3, homebrew devs have been updating applications, tools, and custom firmwares. We have seen several 4.75 Standard CEX CFW's by Alexander and some MFW builds arise also, now a new choice arises as the HABIB releases his latest CFW build in 4.75 Starbucks v1.00. This Standard CEX based CFW [break]ss[/break] comes equipped with the usual patches found in HABIB's builds (see features below) with also one new addition of "syscall 11 for sc_ctrl" that contains some additional notes for developer's seen below.

syscall 11 usage:
 int sc_ctrl(int sc_num, int mode, uint64_t addr)

to disable syscall(e.g 7)
sc_ctrl(7, 0, 0);

to redirect a syscall(e.g 7)
sc_ctrl(7, 1, 0x8000000000001798ULL);
last paramater should just redirect to tail address to your syscall

this cannot be installed on OFW above 3.55, you must first use a hardware flasher to downgrade your system (if your system is downgradable)

Well this is horrible. Upgraded from habib 4.65, I believe to this. No install PKG options. Nothing works. Corrupt data every time I try to re install IT or any other CFW 4.75. Downgrade PUP not working. No QA enabled. BS Worked before the update just fine

You are probably on OFW now. Are you had removed BD, Unmounted game, and dissconnected internet before update?

Is not loop, habib adding a lot of adfly to his downloads.. Click until you get download site.

Also you can try mirror without adfly (first post).

 

I was not online, but I may have not umounted the game. I DID update from the storage media though

 

If you have QA flag enabled then PS3 first check BD for updates (in this case fake BD thru mounted game). If firmware on mounted game was higher than 3.55 you need to use hardware flasher to back to 3.55 and jailbreak your PS3 again..

 

Can you recommend one? It is definitely now on SONY OFW 4.76

 

It depends which model of ps3 you have, also is not so easy to mount or solder flasher to ps3. I sugest you to open new thread in our downgrade section to get more help.
