PS3 4.76.1 REBUG REX (D-REX) Now Available !!!!

As Rebug developer's Evilsperm hinted recently of a "near release" and as Joonie recently announced the new changes since the last update to REBUG REX. The wait is over as the official release has dropped after approved testing has satisifed the REBUG Custom Firmware developers. The most notiable changes in this build of REBUG REX (D-REX) is that you now have the ability for BD / DVD playback on DEX thanks to Mysis findings and release a couple of months ago, Cobra 7.2 makes its introduction to REBUG Firmware's, An update to the Rebug Toolbox (Add-on) that corrects an issue with the MAMBA payload. The IP address I have had on my 4.21.2 Rebug REX Cobra and is a nifty feature. Now if Artimes improves I can ditch 4.21 forever. Great work as usual guys. And even if a new firmware comes DEX will be able to access PSN without a spoof as 4.65 DEX and possibly lower can still access PSN without spoof.

Thats the tradition, a Rebug release = a new OFW coming soon, but before that, PSN requires a maintenance support. :rofl:

The best feature of this release (for DEX users) is the full BD/DVD movie playback by mysis. Talking about mysis, this guy have been doing/releasing great stuff lately. He released today over at playstationhax a new xai_plugin tool called CFW Settings with some tasks such as we now can remarry Bluray Drive without a downgrade to 3.55, enter FSM and more. Seems that downgrading to 3.55 is becoming useless everyday.

 

Talking about mysis, this guy have been doing/releasing great stuff lately. He released today over at playstationhax a new xai_plugin tool called CFW Settings with some tasks such as we now can remarry Bluray Drive without a downgrade to 3.55, enter FSM and more. Seems that downgrading to 3.55 is becoming useless everyday.
