Yes, it was working fine before 7.51...

https://mega.nz/#!7IYxBBZI!PXRd30JwFm3VxNsgFigzanhb_K951g-si9HGHfciocI

tell me if this fixes your issue please

EDIT

Yeah I confirmed the issue myself, the issue was caused by all those modding tools used default process as 0 which is now replaced by VSH. So as a result those cheat tools would try to attach to VSH instead of EBOOT.

By the way, with the debugger provided by ProDG, you can even attach retail EBOOT

FYI @haxxxen

Sorry for the delay, i'm going to test here, so, you've found a workaround for it?

Not yet, but the current work around is not to use the patch, so with the binary from the link will fix your issue

the patch was supposed to allow ANY PROCESS to be attached which it should've been nice if those PC tools of you are using had better detection for loaded processes

as you can see

https://github.com/iMCSx/PS3Lib/blob/master/src/api/TMAPI.cs#L203

tools like this uses 0 as a default process which is now VSH instead of EBOOT.BIN

Anyways, here's the updated binaries

https://github.com/Joonie86/COBRA-7.3/tree/master/481/REX/BIN/release

basically the same as the previous MEGA link. FYI @jonaaa

And to add to what Joonie just said, for tools using it, the culprit is code in PS3lib that does not attempt to detect if the process to attach is the right one & automatically uses the first process indexed.
It's easy to change and recompile actually.
https://github.com/iMCSx/PS3Lib/blob/master/src/api/TMAPI.cs#L203
This code
Code:
ulong uProcess = Parameters.processIDs[0];
must be modified.
Ideally a simple detection algorithm should be used here but for casual users I am ready to bet that changing the index will suffice in most cases, like this
Code:
ulong uProcess = Parameters.processIDs[1];

This cfw loads all the games of my hdd, good work, but in the following update rebug do not include webman, because it does not work well on some consoles, it would be advisable that every user install webman with all the updates, I use multiman because it is more Stable updated :joyous::joyous:

hi, there's a problem with rebug 4.81.2: in dex mode the cid is set to zero
with dex 4.80 cid is ok

No problems here, maybe the issue is from your side... i'm on 4.81.2 here, no problems with IDPS/PSID.

another user in another forum has the same issue (and he mods lots of ps3)
i'm sure other people can confirm this

had the problem on a cech-2004 from a customer and same on my cech2504

Strange... i'm using 4.81.2 since the release, no problems here.

If you previously used webMAN MOD to set your IDPS, then you need to delete the wmconfig and set a new IDPS. This is the one of the reasons why I wanted to remove webMAN MOD from future releases.

There are already 2 current polls in two dedicated threads to discuss this!

@ttz
If you change idps/psid using homebrews like wMM/idpset etc.. you should expect that those apps are the most likely culprits for your current problems & not the CFW itself.

You have the problem on more than one console probably because you reproduced the same steps, maybe spoofing the ids with webMAN-MOD when you should actually use the Rebug Toolbox or psnpatch to deal with id spoofing.

If Joonie is correct, delete wmconfig.bin & wm_config.bin from /dev_hdd0/tmp then reboot & reconfigure webMAN-MOD again from scratch using the setup page. Make sure you don't use any spoofing. Use idpset to set the idps to its desired value. Reboot.
Test again & report.

"Another guy in another forum" could have the same problem but he could also be doing something wrong... As far as I know, nobody has yet reported an idps issue with 4.81.2 that was not solved!

Please provide details, statements like "idps does not work on 4.81.2" or similar do not help us to help you whatsoever.
How can we guess what is happening to you if you don't tell us the whole story....??

Are the ids original? Were they permanently spoofed ids via idpset?
Are you using webMAN-MOD? Are you using psnpatch or SEN?
Are you using the Toolbox to spoof targetid to CEX after DEX conversion?
How are things in CEX mode, can you connect to PSN ok?

-ps3 was original and not banned
-dumped the nor and installed 4.81.2 cex, psn ok
-switched to dex, installed irisman, cid zero (so psn ko)
-restored the ps3, nothing changed
-installed 4.80.1 dex and cid correct
-no webman/webman mod involved

Joonie, do you have plans to include the proposed feature to Cobra or was it deprecated?
http://www.psx-place.com/threads/pr...ter-disabling-the-cfw.12356/page-2#post-69261

I also submitted to you months ago some small changes to Cobra that maybe should be reviewed again.

BTW I was thinking in a new method to enable/disable CFW syscalls:
- We know that we call Cobra functions using syscall 8 (lv1_peek).
- When we disable CFW syscalls, the syscall 8 is removed and the Cobra API can't be used, but indeed Cobra stays running in background.
- So what we need is a new alternative API that don't depend exclusively of the syscall 8.
- Some alternatives are:
* Enable the syscall_handler (found in laboratory.c) to detect the syscall calls and re-create the CFW syscalls again (e.g. create_syscall2(8, syscall8);) when necessary.
* Or use open_path_hook (found in mappath.c) to detect the access a special file that could be used to restore the CFW functions without need to restart.

It's just a suggestion.
It would be interesting if in the new CFW came the plugins folder in dev_hdd0/plugins

What is your irisman version? And how do you check your cid?

The new CFW won't include plugins and what you're asking is very hard

Besides when you install webman mod pkg, it already does what you ask. The CFW won't have to deal with when homebrew can take care of it easily

@aldostools

I thought the project is still under development and I was waiting for Config file implementation
