PS3 4.81 ErMaK86 [COBRA 7.3] Greek Language CFW

Developer Ermak86 is back with a new release following the recent update of XMB Lock that added the 4.81 CFW Support. Now the developer has released his own Ermak86 [Cobra v7.3] Custom Firmware that includes the Greek XMB language mods that we have seen from this developer in past firmware revision. For our member who speak/read the Greek language they know very well that Sony has never officially supportted the language and for proper support of the language to show up on the XMB the community has to take charge and developer Ermak86 does it once again. Yet again one more example of the hacking/homebrew community filling a void and need left by Sony.. The Cobra port of this firmware is based off the Source Code release of 4.81 Overflow Cobra by Bobby_Downgrades ​

It should be ok to install the flash files from Ferrox on this CFW. If your network category is modded you might lose those mods.

There are 2 steps to installing XMBPD. You must install the HDD files, AND install the correct flash files for your CFW, or the other way around, doesnt matter, but they must both be installed.

But I faced the using external NTFS drive. I installed prepNTFS v1.16 then ran it after that ps3 rebooted and WebMAN didn't see my drive.
Is there a good tutorial for using WebMAN and prepNTFS? Or should I use a special prepNTFS for WebMAN?

Ok, i know i'm digging up old corpses here, but this was the last firmware that supported the greek xmb language, a feature never included for the ps3.

I thought it would be great if it had some bugs i've found about ps2 and psp emulation corrected.

So, after two days talking and testing things with @Evilnat (thanks a lot mate, you're awesome) but achieving nothing about porting 8.01 cobra for this firmware, i thought about porting @Alexander 's Ferrox 4.81 1.03 cfw that contains 7.52 cobra update.

So i downloaded the 1.03 firmware, extracted ps1emu, ps2emu and pspemu folders and the relative stage 2.bin file.

I made a installable zip file using @pinky 's tutorials, installed it through multiman and restarted my ps3.

And omg cobra updated to 7.52.

ps1 emulation works great.
ps2 emulation works great (this was the most important for me, because of config files support)
ps3 iso from internal disk and external usb hdd works great.
psp emulation works great using PSP Remasters Launcher fixed [jjkkyu] (this didn't work with the original cobra port).

P.S. For some reason, opera and chrome changes the apostrophe symbol ~ to underscore _ on the downloaded file. so you have to rename it to

P.S.2 Tests i've made are the same with the previous release.

ps1/ps2/psp games loaded with webman mod, ps3 games in folder and ISO format

Additional tests for the correct xmb entries were first made using the xmb emulated with rpcs3 special build.

I didn't translate the cfw settings mod, since i think it's the same files for every language available. So if someone turned from greek to english, cfw tools would still be in greek.

Using Sen enabler 4.86 for spoofing, webman mod reports cobra 8.2 instead of 7.52. Maybe Evilnat or Aldostools should check this out.

SEN Enabler replaces stage2 with 8.2 instead 7.52, that's why webMAN MOD recognizes 8.2 version, it is an updated stage2

Does it work on 4.88? Do you have a download link? Someone just asked me about that a few weeks ago.

No man, it is only for this cfw. 4.88 has newer cobra version. I just update this one, because it had greek language support by community but also some issues.
