I need some help. I have a ps3 version 4.84. I'm wanting to mod it but still want to play online. I downloaded p3 4k pro package. What good CFW can I use with it. Can someone please help me. Inbox me please
 
Does this work with Phat? I have the original Phat and don't know if it will work. Also what do you think is the best, just out of opinion?
 
Hello friends,

I saw tutorial about HFW & CFW 4.84 Jailbreak. I have a question. Suppose i obtain Original Nor Dump with expoit and prepare to write new hex Nor Dump. If i initialize exploit but after writing new Nor Dump into PS3, i find out that written Dump is Bad with error/Danger shows in Py Checker. Can i rewrite/replace Bad Dump with my ORIGINAL Nor Dump to prevent bricking without restarting PS3? What options do i have to save PS3 from bricking?
 
Hi guys , i've updated my cfw from 4.82 to 4.84 2 times and i still get error code 80029517 when trying to launch any games . I start up the console , enable HAN either online or offline mode and it still won't work ... I've been hard stuck on this problem for a while and can't get to fix it . I have a PS3 Slim and 4.82 worked like a charm . If anyone knows how to help me send me a private message. <mod edit to remove e-mail address>

My Cech2001A PS3 CFW/REBUG Multiman GTA5 w/ Paradise Sprx/Semjases is having problems... Everytime I join GTA5 PS3 ONLINE "Friend or Public" I either get put in the lobby alone or I load into an occupied lobby and everyone leaves and I know the problem is on my end but I'm at a dead end now... Thank You In Advance.​

Problem comes from your internet connection, Specifically your Nat Type ...

For example When you got Nat Type 3 then u can't join some Public lobbies in variety of games.

I replace that but causing no display so only soluyion now is :

-Install HEN Debug version in CFW
-Find stage2.cex.debug and use socat o CEX system
-install Rebug CFW and convert to DEX and debug log with socat

But btw i want to socat on normal CFW

Edit : i notice something when i change BUILD_TYPE = release to BUILD_TYPE = debug i se that the files from 88kb while its release type and now it is 107kb its debug type

Edit 2 : get it to work after changing BUILD_TYPE now socat work on NORMAL CFW

Guys, please help. I don't know much about CFW and how to's, so this is what I've done:
- install HFW
- install HAN, enable etc
- turn off internet and try to install a CFW from this thread (rebug, ferrox, overflow)
At this point, the updater stops telling me that the update file is corrupted (all of them), so I cannot install any CFW.
The Package Manager appears under the Games section, but cannot seem to be able to install any .pkg
My console is a cech 3003b, is it matters (HFW 4.84).
Is there anything I'm doing wrong, should I just stop trying before bricking it?

Your PS3 isn't CFW Compatible so your only compatible exploit is HEN not CFW and don't use Flasher/Writer with flash_484.hex or you will brick your console
 
multiman was actually updated some time ago for full support for hen and 4.84 cfw i found it here:https://store.brewology.com/multiman.php
and also can anyone help me i have a cech2004a and i try to patch it with flash_484.hex file from ps3xploit and it doesn't work i have tried everything but it fails i have tested the md5 of the hex file and have 4.84.2 hfw installed. what should i do?

well considering that the last feature update on the ps3 was 4.40 and the latest is 4.84, i don't think we will get something big and since the ps3 was only 4 years old when it was first jailbroken i think it will be a win for the hackers

What is the MD5 hash you have? The flash_484.hex MD5 must be: AB2B3A2E23FA731301260F5702FC4101 and if it's anything else, you risk bricking your console if you attempt to write to the flash with it.

Make sure the USB drive is formatted in FAT32 with MBR. If it's visible under the XMB Photo, Music and Video columns then it's properly formatted. You could also, if possible, try a different USB drive as I had a similar issue when I jailbroke my PS3 at the beginning of 2018 with flash.hex on v1 of the exploit. The patching kept failing with an old 1GB USB drive, but when I tried a newer 32GB drive it worked almost instantly. Hope this helps with your issue.
