DEVS EDIT:
We are completely rebuilding the CFW from a clean REBUG base to be more organized and avoid the bugs we got on BETA 1
I will keep you informed of the next updates, if you have a bug or some problems to report, please let us know.
PS:
Note that we are not responsible for any damage. for the record, the CFW for DECR was personally requested from us and was made on a normal REBUG DECR base (The CFW worked very well on RPCS3. As I do not have a DECR, I could not test it faithfully).
If you want a special version of the CFW, you will be the only one to test it.
If you need more information, help or support, visit our Discord server

Best wishes -Misari

I would caution with using this CFW download, until more is known.

It's coming from an unknown team & poster, and the release notes are a bit off.
Yeah, sorry, we usually speak French (Except, I speak Syriac with some french bases) so it's not easy to do release note.

If you want you can extract it using PUAD to ensure that is not à virus or something like that

Nice to see new CFWs! :)

However, we should be cautious. Have you tested it on different models?

From what I can tell, it's essentially 4.84 with an updated Cobra, Evilnat 4.91's XAI plugin, ps2_netemu.self, and cfw tools. It also includes a pre-0.90 wave (by the way, you're missing the transitions in custom_render.rco) and Devil's 303 debug category_game.xml that is only for testing and most of the options crash the system! (it is not being used as the fw is using category_game_tool2.xml), along with a purple PSN icon.

Is there any new patch in this firmware?

Regarding the updates:
  • Removed Unnecessary Icons: Streamlined the XMB by removing redundant icons for a cleaner experience.
  • Retro Emulator Update: Updated Retro EMU for enhanced support (testing still required).
  • VSH SPRX Update: VSH SPRX updated for improved system stability and compatibility with plugins.
Could you provide more details on these updates? I checked the XML files, and they are not optimized and still contain a lot of redundant menus (similar to the OFW).

What is 'Retro EMU' and 'VSH SPRX' and what has been changed?

Also i don't think it's a good idea of displaying a fake "HDD: 931 GB" and TargetID and etc in the xmb_plugin.sprx as these informations are not fixed.

EDIT:

Bug Report:

As you included the CFW Tools from Evilnat 4.91, you are missing the new imagefont.bin, so it's custom tags are not being displayed.

#2
You included the old rebug cfw_tools.xml in dev_flash/vsh/resource/xmb and inside the xmb folder that it is not being used at all

Question:
  • Enhanced Compatibility with PSX, PSP, and PS2 Games in ISO Format:
How will you improve compatibility with these emulators?

  • Further PS3 Game Performance Optimizations and Custom Tweaks:
What steps will you take to enhance PS3 game performance?

TESTED ON:
CEH2004A
CECH25004A
CECH25004B
CECHLl02

DECR1000A (bricked using a special version based on Rebug 4.84.1 DECR: I DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING IN CORE OS)

A BETA 2 is coming to fix crashes and maybe add new patches

Uhhh... It's my HDD space... I should fix it or re put the original file
