you mean like i have already done in the past?

don't get me wrong, not trying to sound like an asshole or anything, if you like ferrox more power to you. but i do not. the only way i might consider giving up on rebug is if i desperately need to get on psn, which i am not in a hurry to do

i was asking how ferrox is the same as rebug, since i posted about rebug and got told to install ferrox instead. there was even a time i had given up rebug in favor of rogero, but then he quit and rebug came back so it's not that i'm resillient to change, it's just a matter of personal preference

they are both excellent CFWs.
If you feel comfortable with Rebug, I recommend you stay on 4.84.2 Dex and use the Sen Enabler spoof ;) Rebug I don't think will come out.
There is already Evilnat and Ferrox.

Again, something is clearly getting lost in translation on your end or you simply do not read. As i've stated before I don't need PSN. Also suggesting spoof is criminal nowadays

I think @ is right sony is banning spoofed firmwares due to the chack in auth.sprx

I never play online, i only sign-in to use some media apps and never had any problem so far.

Proud to say Sony fixed most of its issues.
Though sad to say millions of console ids were breached which includes all Sony devices except ps5 obviously. For the most part compromised accounts now get a reset password notification within a week. Though for a brief moment your details might get leaked.
The database checking if your email is registered or not is now super slow and the specific method I had is now patched.

PSN is now safe again for everyone

you got banned? I got banned for unknown reasons several years ago, though I might've signed into multiman accidentally (just don't recall exactly), and bits got banned after downloading crunchyroll. there doesn't seem to be a logic to sony's banning behavior. that's why I never sign in. with my new system, I've only signed in once, to get my act.dat. I have all of my playstation emails tied to my laptop and my phone, so I'll know if I get banned. can't sign in with the ps4 obviously, and sony doesn't seem to care about the vita... btw, speaking of crunchroll, I downloaded it for my wii u a long time ago, because supposedly it had some sort of exploit, but that was never released.

This is my second ban, i got banned several years ago in my main account (3.55 kmeaw days), i used to play online very often including Call of duty games ( known for banning), so i got all accounts on my system banned by sony, including my cousin's account with a lot of content purchased and abput $200 in the wallet ( he only logged in to get me a dlc).

But since then, i got another idps and made another account and never player online on ps3 again, but i always have it logged in, just playing with media apps ( Crunchyroll ) and later modding withou problems. The only different thing i did was converting my system to dex and then 3 days later i got banned LOL.
 
i think is better we all who have hfw or cfw 4.87 don't login with ps3 because habib says is true and I think is very and very true so we all with ps3 we are fucked if we play online or stay logon on xmb we will get ban i think

man, that really sucks. I almost had a heart attack when I got banned, because the account was banned and I was using the same account on the vita, pstv, and ps4. I hope you weren't.
 
Good afternoon. Friends have cfw Rebug 4.86 I tried to open the site it doesn't work. What do you advise me to do, or what is the best option to update my PS3?

which site? if you mean ps3xploit or bgtoolset sites, you do not need them to update to 4.87 cfw.

you can update to evilnat or ferrox 4.87 cfw. just install the pup file.

I'm trying through the rebug website. Having already installed the rebug, can I install update 4.87 from another one? What are the differences, which is the best and most reliable? I've seen here that evilnat, caused some errors

the rebug site is down. the actual downloads were coming from a different site but it is also down. there is no rebug for 4.87.

yes, you can switch between cfws. just install the new cfw's pup.

i am not sure of all the differences. both include cobra and all the common patches.

evilnat is still updating his version so it should get better.
 
For me this versio works okey. I found one major issue for me and its that Ps2 games dont work on my Fat Ps3 model. I installed the official firmware and the Ps2 games work without any issues. Is there a way to fix this issue? On the older versio before these updates the Ps2 games worked on customfirware and i could even play Ps2 Iso games from disk/ Usb.

were you using evilnat or ferrox?

what cfw were you using before update?
