irisman 4.87.1 does not work in 4.88 HFW, when starting it gives a black screen and the console freezes.
irisman 4.86.3 apparently works fine, at least it starts off correctly

IRISMAN 4.87.1 had support for 4.88 but there was a little bug in the code. I've fixed it in IRISMAN 4.88

No you can not downgrade, Just wait for a new release of HEN for 4.88.

It wont be me releasing anything, but it will probably be done in a few days, maybe a week.

I just dropped Ferrox 4.87 in my PS3 last week and finished up Retroarch prep this past weekend! Now this! I'm holding out for CFW and thank God for the "Turn off" feature in ManaGunZ file manager so I didn't have to stay awake and babysit a 40GB transfer!

No, there is no way to downgrade from 4.88 OFW or 4.88 HFW. The only way to downgrade is to install a CFW first if your console supports it.

HFW is not a CFW.

It is just the OFW with the old webkit, so nothing is patched, you need a exploit to launch you game backups and homebrews.

HEN is required to do that, just wait for the official release.

i second that, we might be waiting but seems as though devs are actively ontop of it and trying to get a working cfw out. things just naturally take time is all. definately thankful theres still devs actively on the ps3 scene to try to push out new cfw.
