Imho the majority of people that still uses HAN does it because of the so called free stores redistributing HAN resigned games for piracy purposes.

velho, nao esta aparecendo no ps3. Msmo em MBR/fat32. Até chega salvar no pen drive igual o 4.87 mas nao aparece na hora de baixar no ps3...
O que devemos fazer?

English:
old, is not showing up on ps3. Even in MBR/fat32. It even saves on pen drive like 4.87 but does not appear when downloading to ps3... What should we do?

Mano, já tive esse problema antes e tive que formatar o pendrive para deixar ele "zerado" antes de copiar o update para a pasta "x:\PS3\UPDATE\"

Se isso não resolver, posso tentar gerar uma imagem raw do pendrive para você gravar no seu pendrive com o balenaEtcher.

Bro, I already have this issue before and I had to format the thumb drive again, to let it "empty" before copy the update file to the "x:\PS3\UPDATE\"

If this don't work, I can try to generate a raw image of the thumb drive to you, to burn on yours thumb drive with balenaEtcher.

There is no longer an active Rebug team afaik. First of all, we cannot really expect anyone to keep at it on their free time for as long as the console gets updates.
Secondly the whole point of Rebug was REX editions. Lite editions only appeared in recent years for 2 reasons:
1. Joonie couldn't get his hands on official DEX firmwares as regularly as he used to.
2. habib & various other CFW makers stopped releasing their own CFWs leaving the scene with much fewer choices than before.

So as we haven't seen an official DEX firmware since 4.84 & no-one came forward to help, proper REX updates have become impossible to make & the entire Rebug project is left in limbos. I think Joonie just moved on.

speaking of @Joonie , I had forgotten to add his name to my xproject mods, so the one Leeful released, I fixed the typos for the quick menu (the ones that still reflected hen 2.1.3) and added his name to goldhen along with SisTro. Leeful already added his name to the hen section.

I'm still on 4.84 rex, but I'll probably install @Evilnat 's 4.88 cfw once cobra 8.30 and it have been released. I don't play online or even play the ps3 for that matter though, so it doesn't really matter either way.

I use REX 4.84.2 as well & there is no real need for an update, Cobra can be updated manually (especially with the new failsafe feature).
Atm the biggest problem with REX 4.84 is going online but Nat might solve this problem with SEN. We may also be able to swap the np login sprx with a resigned 4.88 version, it needs investigated.
It would be good as well to find a way to update certificates (ssl/bluray) manually when required.
 
would be nice to have updated bluray keys, but I don't own a single bluray movie, so it's not a big deal for me personally. I think bd would probably be a dead format if not for games, since everything is going towards streaming now, just need unlimited internet, which I don't have. my family still uses cable, and it's the reason it's going to take me another month possibly to download all ps3 updates from @jcorrea 's txt file.
 
Guys, I´m about to sell my fat PS3 to buy a Super Slim because the BD drive on my console doesn´t work anymore and I have tons of pgysical games that I can´t use because of this. My PS3 had been throught many fixes for this problem but none of them seems to work so I´m giving up on her.

Now, the question is:why should I or shoudl I not switch from CFW to HEN??

I'm on the same cfw as you and I agree not being able to sign online since 4.88 ofw dropped is really frustrating

After I download the HFW 4.88 when I extract it no archive found :concern: could help me plz

When I extract the zip file HFW 4.88 archive not found I even download it from the 3 sites MediaFire Mega SendSpace it the same thing archive not found could you help me

Just wanted to pop in and thank everyone for the quick work since the latest update. I didn't even realize they rolled one out until my daughter couldn't get on Netflix. LOL. Everything seems to be working just like before on this CECH 4XXX SuperSlim. I appreciate y'all.
