Did this and realized ultimate toolbox is not working with certain things. I hope we can get an update but I do understand the dev might not want to.

Most of why I downloaded toolbox works though so even if they don't update I'm cool with it.

Even they announced that they will remove PS Store on both systems, but they regretted. I guess now they regretted to have regretted.

I'm trying to revert back all the files from 4.88 to 4.89, there are 2 bugs left, the mouse pointer and remote play, i'll not update my rcos because i have more than 2k of it and sony will release 4.90 to fix the layout issues from 4.89 and probably the layouts will change again, i'm only updating my files when 4,90 comes out.

I have a question, have you guys checked if it's HFW 4.89 or if I'm an isolated case - namely with 4.88 I could easily download files from websites using a browser. I didn't really need it, but it happened that I didn't want to fire up the computer or poke around in the phone to send something via FTP (e.g. to store.brewology...)
Now I've noticed that I couldn't download a theme to xmb from Hen/ultimate Toolbox - a white browser page opens, even after pressing the triangle there is no option to download the file because the option is gray.
And when I try to download something from e.g. the brewology store I get an error code (80023320).
If this has anything to do with it - in general, when I launch the browser itself and I have plastation com as my default - I get the message 'Could not view page. (80710a06)'
I don't have any dns blocked or anything like that.
Java scripts etc in the browser enabled normally, I have no idea.
 
I flashed my PS3 with this new HEN last week but I had this problem when trying to trigger the exploit, just like the first (and last) time I flashed this particular PS3 which I bought recently. The problem is that when I try to use the HEN installer/enabler tab the exploit always fails, and I mean ALWAYS. I tried different days, different internet settings, starting from a clean HFW install, erasing cache and all that stuff and still always getting the "Exploit Failed" messege. I know the exploit has a % of failing but I never had this problem with other PS3´s, just with my particular model. What ended up working flawlessly for me was the "manual" installer, I opened that tab and the exploit triggered almost inmediatly. I think it´s something the team may be interested in

My PS3 is a CECH-4211B, the Gran Turismo 6 special edition

This is normal. If you simply set your home page to the hen installer page. Close browser and reopen. It will work almost instantly.

For me, it doesn't matter. It works the same either way. I also never delete cookies, cache, etc.

EDIT: also using blank home page and using history to open Hen Installer/Enabler page works for me as well.

what is a good free store for hen?

I´m sorry to say that this didn´t work for me either. I went as far as getting a fresh HFW install and still getting the "Exploit failed" messege. So I think this is a problem the team may consider. My PS3 is yours for testing

This problem is caused by a bug that has been addressed privately many months ago.
The situation will not change until we release the new HEN installer/enabler we have kept on the back burner for a few months, we simply haven't had time to make a release candidate yet, it will happen eventually.

Oh, so you are aware of this, great! Is it a problem with my specific model? Anyway, I´ll wait and I maintain this: my PS3 is yours to test it
 
Hi everyone, please I need help with my ps3 fat(cechG04).
I was on evilnat 4.88(no but no blu-ray), then a friend connected it to internet and updated to Sony's ofw 4.89, ever since then, when I try playing game, it'll end with this error code "8001050f".
I've removed the cmos battery, changed it, updated the date and time, nothing works, whenever I want to install the hfw, it won't be displayed via the update page unless I install via safe mode, I've installed the hfw and hen, but still, my games aren't working, please help

if u update to ofw you need to repeat the webhack and reinstall the cfw
