My console is currently on 4.89 Evilnat but when I go to install Evilnat 4.90 My console keeps saying no storage media found, or When it does it goes to the promts and gives me an error saying operation error then a code. Idk why im having issues, I have never had this issue. Then when I go to add 3.55 rogero downgrader to maybe downgrade it. the console doesnt find the media device. what is causing this error. I am getting frustrated. Trying to use this version. CFW Evilnat 4.90 Cobra 8.4 [CEX]

do not use a downgrader pup. no need. try installing from recovery mode. i have troubleshooting guide here.

I have tried doing it through recovery mode and it just doesn't find the usb stick for some reason. but when i go to the xmb it finds it and then just gives me an error everytime i go to update the firmware. idk whats going on never had this issue before.
 
I assume this is a port of Evilnat's awesome 4.89.3 to 4.90 right? Are there any CFW changes?

try recovery again. no usb hubs. when you start the search for the update, unplug the controller. leave it unplugged untill the search is over. sometimes this trick works.
 
Using R2 + Triangle says "Failed to disable CFW syscalls"

Will using X to spoof from PSNPatch be okay for signing in, or is there a way to fix the error message?

Yes, it's based on 4.89.3. It includes the latest changes in xai_plugin 1.3 + Cobra 8.4:
  • Now Cobra shows the correct disc image for PS2 (now you can select between blue or blue/gold icon)
  • Fixed libCrypt for PSX games (thanks to aldostools)
  • Enabled [Install All Packages] in non QA flagged PS3
  • Added german language in xai_plugin (thanks to FadedHD3)
  • Updated french language in xai_plugin (thanks to EimGdt and Chronoss09)
  • Updated OtherOS and PSN icon (thanks to HackZy01)
  • Updated Cobra version to 8.4
  • Use PS2 FAN Modes on PS2 Classic games (make sure webMAN MOD FAN Control is disabled)

Bluray keys are updated. This is the main reason of the updates.

In 4.90 LV2 kernel is based on 4.80, while on 4.81 to 4.89 the LV2 kernel is based on 4.75.

LV1 is the same on both versions, except some time stamps.

The rest is basically the same or little changes have been noticed.
