4.93 EVILNAT (Cobra 8.5)

PS3 4.93 Evilnat w/ Cobra v8.5 - (CEX/PEX/D-PEX) 4.93

@aldostools i'm still having problems with .44 whe i switch between firmwares, let's say i install webMAN on 4.90 and i go back to 4.84 the console will freeze until i disable cobra and delete webMAN MOD and enable cobra again, if i install on 4.84 and go to 4.90 same thing.

Is there any thing i need to delete first?

There isn't any setting cached related to the firmware version installed.

I'd suggest to uninstall webMAN MOD and reinstall it after the new firmware is running stable.

Are you switching on dex or cex mode?

@aldostools

have you not for few days say FIRST update Tools and the Install CFW or have i what wrong read ?

Also What NOW Please
First update the Tools Webman-Mod, Multiman
Second Update the CFW to PS3 in Recovery Modus ?

I checked NOT . So or So

Greetings

Found another weird thing with the PEX firmware. As the XMB/VSH is running the DEX mode by default to expose the Debug options the "Video options" are hidden and can't be accessed. You have to switch to CEX mode to change them.

I don't know if this is a bug or supposed to be like that in DEX VSH mode.

Also instead of PS/PS2 it just says PS in the Game options.

Only cex vsh has the VIDEO options, and the PS2 in the game settings will be only displayed if you have a PS2 game installed. (after you lanch it?)

Hello dear friends. Please help, the download links are not working. After entering the Mega program and clicking download, the download file stays at zero bytes and is not downloaded. If possible, upload the download links on the 1File site. I really need this cfw and I can't download it for several days

Yes, I said update the plugin BEFORE install HFW 4.90 or CFW 4.90 from XMB or recovery menu (if XMB doesn't allow).

Another way to upgrade (maybe safer) is to uninstall webMAN MOD and reinstall the latest version after the new firmware is running stable. This second method is what I suggested to LuanTeles in my post above.

Hello, does this CFW 4.90 already come with "ps2netemu" optimized to show temperatures?
Is there a problem with me continuing to use the "webman" I was using in 4.89?

You must update webMAN MOD to the latest version 1.47.44 or uninstall it before install Evilnat 4.90

Older versions of webMAN are not compatible with 4.90 and will freeze your console.

No, i don't use classics. Too much work, just ISOs loaded via WebMan Mod.

That's the reason, the system is expecting a PS2 game as PS2 classics not ISO, the registry will be only updated with the PS2 flag if you launch a PS2 classic game. ISOs are not meant to be loaded (Originally). Once you launch a PS2 classic game your xRegistry will be updated and the options will be shown.

Okay, i found another weird thing. While @aldostools xmb fix did fix the alphabetical sorting for the games, it didn't fix it in the package manager. There packages are still sorted captialized first then uncapitalized.

Not in my case. It clearly sorts my packages from A-Z and then from a-z

Doubt it, are you sure we're talking about pkg files? I think you're talking about installed games in PKG format.

If so it will be addressed in the incoming version, Aldo shared a registory.xml that fixes it a few posts behind

It was patched by @Evilnat in the 4.88 CFW. It may have been removed in the 4.90 CFW though (it was called something like "Toggle custom system information" in the CFW Tools).

No, the PS2 label and settings will be only available after a PS2 classic is launched, the same goes to Data Utility (PS2).

When a PS2 Classic game is installed and launched the following flags are activated

Toggle Custom System information, only displays the firmware revision under System Information, example 4.90.1 (rco mod)
