4.93 EVILNAT (Cobra 8.5)

PS3 4.93 Evilnat w/ Cobra v8.5 - (CEX/PEX/D-PEX) 4.93

Is it possible to run pirated ps2 CDs through the drive on the PS3 fat retro?
As for the next release, is there a way to include the option to change the date and time of the trophies?

I wanted to ask it before but kept forgetting to ask:
Even before using evilant, my trophies won't show earning date. Any ideas why tho? Could it be related to CFW? Or the fact i didn't have any PSN user/profile on it?

desculpe, foi uma pergunta inocente, por curiosidade referente a um vídeo que assisti no youtube...

Sorry, it was an innocent question, out of curiosity regarding a video I watched on YouTube...

Now, something much more interesting happened. One of my games won't sync some thropies, as i can clearly see them in offline mode, but when i switch to online mode, i don't have them.O_o any thoughts?

If you have a BC model (CECHA through CECHE) and have recent enough CFW then it will play burned PS2 discs. Don't expect any help with pirating games though. Non-BC models cannot play physical PS2 discs, neither burned nor original.
It is possible to mess around with the trophy timestamps on your local PS3 but attempting to sync the modified to PSN is one of the best ways to get banned.

Hummmm.
I don't know.
As they are years old(some dates back to 2008/9).
And funny enough, like my other comment, they don't even have an earned date.

So I have a ps3 slim with the evilnat 4.90 firmware, but how do I load ps2 iso from external?

I use to be on lower firmware running PS3 4K Pro mod and it pretty much had everything setup I had my ps2 iso loading but now that I'm on 4.90 using the evilnat firmware I can't get any ps2 iso to load.

I have tried a few launchers and one sees the games but when I press mount it returns to the xmb with nothing mounted

You can only "load" PS2 isos from external devices if they are in the PS2ISO folder and you have webman installed but note that webman will copy the iso to a temporary folder in the internal storage (it takes some seconds depending on the iso size) and launch it from there.

The reason is because the built-in ps2 emulator does not have access to external devices, so it needs to be in the system's internal storage.

my external hard drive is formated as NTFS and the PS2ISO folder has the games but webMAn & multiman does not see it, only ManaGunZ will see it but no mount.

I found the last firmware i was using was 4.87 and had PS3 4K Pro Full installed.

by the way do you know where i can find the PS3 4K Pro Full not lite? i cant find it on any external hd so i must have not saved it

i may just downgrade back to 4.87 and try and just install the 4k Pro mod back, thanks for the info

Wait, so we can launch PS2 isos from an NTFS external drive using WebMan Mod? I thought we could only launch them from internal, that the PS2 isos had to be in the PS2ISO folder on the internal drive.

Not really. Even if LuanTeles is correct, it's not that you're actually running the game from the external drive, it's that webMAN MOD copies it to the internal drive and launches it from there.
When you play PS2 games - even on an officially BC console - the USB ports emulate the PS2's USB ports and therefore cannot be used to run the game from. The only way to play a PS2 game directly from an external drive would be to use OPL, but that would reduce the loading speed significantly and on non-BC consoles you won't be able to load config files.

So far I was able to mount only manually copied iso from internal storage by ManagunZ. webMAN MOD tries to copy iso from external to internal but fails. Later I get other error '/dev/bdm' or something. I'll check later at home what it exactly says. Tried from NTFS drive with prepISO and FAT32. webMAN can see my iso in PS2ISO folder on external drive but can't copy it to internal. I did not try to mount iso that already is in the internal storage with webMAN. I'll do it later. It seems that CFW is fine with PS2 isos but webMAN has some issues.

I have gone back to 4.88.2, since I like to have the ultimate toolbox fully functional, and I did not find anything on how to modify the imposed file, which is the only one that fails me to have the personalized PS3, thanks to all the devs, for do this job

Honestly, I've never gone through that process, @aldostools can help you
