If you turn this on the moment you load system update it'll restore your syscalls automatically if you have them disabled
Anyway, shouldn't a message appear to see if it worked?

i just downloaded the CEX/DEX/PEX/D-PEX and the newer ones OC and all of them 704KB, but it doesn't matter, i just wondered why that size increase
BTW i just compressed it, now it's 130KB again, so it's just uncompressed
With your syscalls on turn on the allow. Then disable syscalls. Then you go into system update. You will get the message syscalls restored* How can I click "Allow Restore Syscalls" the moment I click "System Update"?

What about the first paragraph?
Aight, thank you for the information broThere is no way to go from 4.91 to 4.90. You can only downgrade using a cfw enabled ps3. Like I said before you'll need to wait if on 4.91 for a patch option
Considering ccapi is closed source I don't think he can do that. However it seems it was updated to 4.90 only for cex though not dexHey @Evilnat I have a suggestion, how about implementing a ccapi of the current version of your cfw? It would be very convenient and a very good option or am I wrong? What do you say?![]()

That's weird. The xai plugin doing that is normal as I don't think it's updated yet. I'm not sure what all you touched but if the allow is turned on it should automatically do as I said if your syscalls are disabled. It sounds like your syscalls should be disabled though since you can sign in. Try running 4.91 evilnat again. It should hopefully fix it and then you can try again. If anyone else wants to chime in on solutions feel free since the allow syscalls option should be the easiest thing to explain... Yet for some reason, here we are. Works fine for me so I dunnoTried again, no message appeared.
Also, when I try to install the xai.plugin after clicking "Update xai_plugin" from the XMB, it says a server error occurred "(HTTP Status Code: 404)".
EDIT: Now I can access PSN even after clicking Enable PSN Protection and right after restarting the PS3 (without having clicked any setting before accessing the PSN). I don't know what happened.
Ohh ok I think I understand now. You were logged in. Under disabling and used restore syscalls while still logged in. Yes this would probably still keep you logged in. You should log out before you restore. But you think it should auto log you out and redisable using that function? I hope I understood that correctly. Your also using an SSD which isn't recommended for a ps3. It has issuesI no longer have the issue I did with the "Allow Restore Syscalls" setting but in my opinion a message should appear right after clicking "System Update" bedore even trying to acess the PSN.

It does pop up saying they are restored or should. And ps3 doesn't have trim support which ssds need so it can act funny. That was only introduced later in ps4s and ps5sNo, I wasn't logged in and what I meant was that a message should appear in the screen on "System Update" to confirm syscalls were restaured so that users know they were doing the right process. That's simply what I mean.
Which issues are those?
There's a few articles around explaining this.ps3 was not built with ssds in mind so use at your own risk.It does pop up saying they are restored or should. And ps3 doesn't have trim support which ssds need so it can act funny. That was only introduced later in ps4s and ps5s
No dev blind is correct. You need to turn on dev blind flash to see this folder.I'm kind of late to the party on this but I realized my sort list of games is doing the same here where A-Z (higher cased titled) is organized but then a-z (lowercase titled) starts below the capitalized section within a folder. I found in this post -> https://www.psx-place.com/threads/c...-4-cex-dex-pex-d-pex.39743/page-4#post-358263 by @aldostools to fix this is to update the registory. But when I try to FTP the new registory file I keep getting an error, that it can't replace or upload to that directory (/dev_blind/vsh/resource/explore/xmb) which for me I believe is (/dev_flash/vsh/resource/explore/xmb/) on my system which has CEX 4.90 on it. I suspect Xai_plugins updater is supposed to fix this but I can't even update that in custom firmware tools since I keep getting "A server error has occured. (HTTP Status Code: 404) which I suspect is because it hasn't updated yet? I don't know. Is there any other place I can get the latest xai_plugin for but for 4.90? I'm still running 4.90 CEX. Thank you.
and if A-Z and a-z are alphabetized then the alphabet sorting is working. Unfortunately it's just like my uncharted is out of order but it's because of how it's titled which is still alphabetically correct. Once you install evilnat without changing anything the alphabet sorting works as intendedNo dev blind is correct. You need to turn on dev blind flash to see this folder.

My ps3 is put away at the moment but there's quite a few ways. I think webman mod has a clicker then there's using ultimate toolbox but that'll break your alphabet anyways. Registry will fix it though and adds more options. There's setting in multiman at the bottom to turn it on. It all depends on your flavor. My main go to I have with 4.91 evilnat is actually all those options. Everything works perfect.i also have PlayStation home and irisman and a patched little big planet 3,cex dex support, petiboot, just haven't installed linuix yet.but lol we are going a bit deeper thereHow can I access this folder to be able to upload the registory.xml? I can't see it visible in my FTP client. Lol.. I feel like an idiot. lol Thanks.
