CCAPI isn't really needed since you can already do the same with PS3MAPI or TMAPI.

It's kinda shame that a lot of so-called modders want to promote their modding tool using CCAPI..

CCAPI is closed source and unfortunately you will have to wait for the author to add support to the latest CFW.

Tried PS3MAPI before i remember its very slow compared to CCAPI/TMAPI even with wired connection but its a solution

i just downloaded the CEX/DEX/PEX/D-PEX and the newer ones OC and all of them 704KB, but it doesn't matter, i just wondered why that size increase

BTW i just compressed it, now it's 130KB again, so it's just uncompressed

I checked it last night and for me it is 130kb for all version, I will check it again later

Hey @Evilnat I have a suggestion, how about implementing a ccapi of the current version of your cfw? It would be very convenient and a very good option or am I wrong? What do you say?

The problem is that CCAPI is closed source and only Enstone can update it for 4.91, I can try only to patch it with IDA but I do not know if it will work

psx_netemu doesn't work like that. It's design to not use discs, only disc images.

It does pop up saying they are restored or should. And ps3 doesn't have trim support which ssds need so it can act funny. That was only introduced later in ps4s and ps5s


There's a few articles around explaining this.ps3 was not built with ssds in mind so use at your own risk.

In my case it doesn't pop up.

EDIT: @aldostools says it only pops up if webMAN MOD is installed.

Thank you for the CFW @Evilnat. Unfortunately, DVDs can't be played on DEX. They play fine on CEX, but on DEX there is just an error message on the XMB. The error code is: 800299D2.

I'm also unable to open the TrophyUnlocker menu. Pressing L2 as prompted doesn't do anything. Tried on both CEX and DEX.

Sorry I assumed by default you already had webman mod installed. That was my error in that. Yes that is one of the tools I recommend along the cfw

Why is webMAN MOD needed for the message to appear? Other messages appear if clicking Cobra settings and without webMAN MOD installed so I don't get why this one doesn't.

I dunno man.webman mods been around for awhile and quite useful. There's quite a few things I use for more functionality. All developers need love for various things. It's not just a one man show. Also having it doesn't take up much space. I use evilnat, I use webman mod.i use ultimate toolbox with a registry xml fix and I use multiman. I also have many games and such loaded on top of that , PlayStation home and a little less than 700 gig storage left. It could be worse. In my psp days for a powerhouse I had to load so many plugins to get the functionality I wanted.i don't mind doing the extra stuff. It's supporting other developers by using their stuff. It's like asking why we need bgtoolset,ps3hen,hfw as well. I hope that makes sense

I dunno about the first part but trophy locker works for me. Only thing I could say is disable it and then renable. One slight issue I have with trophy locker is it'll open every time you press l2, while playing games.i know there's a disable function when the menu pops up but then you need to go back out and reenable it. Should be a key combo to open to prevent this but it does work. Keep trying
Edit: from what I read on your DVD issue. Is your DVD a backup or an original disc. If it's a backup that may be the issue

Again unsure why trophy locker doesn't work for you but I did try the DVD in dex and it only produces that error when you swap kernals. However if you don't it'll freeze your system. It works fine in cex though so use that for now to watch movies

Thread hasn't been updated with individual links but if you routinely check the mega folder work is on the way. Seems the different versions for cex has been loaded. The rest show one file each. So it's progress. But will take time.
