I can confirm that issue, though i was thinking it was new because i used to run the PEX OC fírmware. No overclock: less fluidity. If you pay attention to it during menu transistions its very noticable.

Sembra il classico caso di hard disk che non funziona più correttamente.. Ho avuto un paio di situazioni così in passato.. Ho risolto solo cambiando l hdd. Facci sapere

IT seems hdd doesn't work very well anymore. I had a few situations with this problem in the past.. I solved changing the hdd. Let us know
 
I thought I'd ask everyone on 4.91 CEX what their experience has been like with the latest build? I have yet to update myself as I've been waiting for all the fixes to be applied and all the bugs addressed. My sense is that the latest one is more stable.

Would now be a good time to update or will it improve over the coming days? I'm currently on 4.90 CEX.

Is that a genuine 4.91 DEX? If it is then a dump of CoreOS and dev_flash would be appreciated by the community.
Or even better send the DEX PUP privately to some of the active developers like Joonie, Evilnat, Bguerville, Littlebalup, etc.

If it is just a CFW 4.91 spoofed or converted to DEX, you only have to install 4.91 Evilnat D-PEX and use the CEX2DEX menu in Network > Custom Firmware Tools to convert your console from DEX to CEX.

Works perfectly fine for me. Also if something does break you can always use the QA flag to downgrade back.

I have a DECHA. Can I use it to download DEX OFW 4.9?

I use 4.81 CEX cobra in addition to the current version, and many xai functions are working well including new features.
I think your CFWs will also be useful for users using old versions. maybe trophy unlocker plugin will be especially useful for non-REX users.

I found a bug but I don't really know if this is where to post it

While in the Webman setup page, if FPS / Temp Show is ON, sometimes the system automatically shuts down, and that doesn't happen when playing a game or smth else, just in webman setup page, with fps / temp counter ON.

Console is a PS3 CECHG04, running first 4.91 CFW release, temps are as usual, 68C - CPU / 48 - 50C - GPU, so it's in the normal range, temps seem to not be the problem, also this had not happened on CFW 4.90.

I understand that there's another 4.91CFW release (a bug-fixed one), should I just update from USB again with the new bug-fixed version, or this has not been adressed yet?

That issue hasn't been addressed... it seems to be a bug in memory handling of VshFpsCounter

In any case it's highly suggested that you update to the latest Evilnat 4.91 from March 12th.
The previous releases had important bugs that affect webMAN MOD and Mamba.

I need help, I couldn't download the cex/pex one on my ps3 slim because it says "The Data is corrupted" at 70%. I m very new to ps3 modding and my ps3 does not have any HEN or OFW or CFW. its just a normal ps3 slim that I want to mod. please help, thank you.

You can't install CFW over a OFW, please make sure you have a CFW capable console and then use bgtoolset to allow the CFW installation. If not, you can use HFW+ HEN.

Note that bgtoolset and HEN are not yet available for 4.91
