4.93 EVILNAT (Cobra 8.5)

PS3 4.93 Evilnat w/ Cobra v8.5 - (CEX/PEX/D-PEX) 4.93

Hi, I just noticed the option of auto upload savefile in each games disappeared, does anyone have a clue what is happening? The option should have showed up in side menu when you press triangle button on ps3 games. with a PSPlus icon on it.

For now even if I have subscribe ps+ for a month, I still can't auto backup my save files to the cloud.

CFW 4.91.2 Evilnat Cobra (8.5) BETA9 installed, but the same problem also exists in 4.91.1 which is the reason why I tried the newset cfw but the issue persists.

Oh, i found this issue in my Pro Mod last year, so Nat's firmwares are affected too?

@Evilnat, it seems like the DEX game_ext_plugin.sprx disables the pop-up when you launch a game for the first time with a PS Plus subscription. This is the issue I found when using Fake Plus, and apparently also what @A Chinese Man reported.

Thx for the help! The cause of them might be the same.
I am using PEX firmware here by the way. Maybe for now I should try reinstalling CEX version instead?

Hey, I'm trying to find the Debug HDD Exchange utility on 4.91.2 PEX. For the life of me, I cannot find this particular utility. Am I just blind or is it in a different cfw that I should probably install instead? I was able to successfully get CFW 4.91.2 Evilnat Cobra 8.5 PEX Beta 9 installed.

Long story short, I'm trying to upgrade my original 80 gb HDD to a 1TB SSD. Tried putting my new SSD in my PS3 thinking the Format option will come up and look for a CFW on a USB drive formatted to FAT32. Unfortunately, I cannot get my PS3 to detect this USB drive with this file after swapping in my 1TB SSD, which means I revert back to my original HDD.

I didn't know there's an easy and fast way to swap/backup & recover/upgrade HDD even for CFW now?!

So I ended up downloading an older version of the Rebug toolbox after downgrading to 4.89.3 CFW and was able to the Rebug toolbox pkg file to get the Debug HDD Exchange feature. I was able to successfully clone the hard drive to my SSD without issues.

Judging by the fact that b9 has been the last beta for a long time now and no major issues were reported, maybe it's time for Evilnat to "officially release" 4.91.2?

I agree. If any important bug is found after a final release, it could be fixed in "4.91.3 beta saga" :quartet:

Rebug 4.91 when lol
Probably never. The Rebug team had long moved on and currently Evilnat is the only person still maintaining an up to date CFW. He's already integrated every feature Rebug ever had so there's to reason to stick to Rebug at this point.

Sorry if I missed info somewhere but will there be a new OC version?
Unless it's set manually somewhere now.
Probably when all the minor issues are solved and a final release of 4.91.2 is available.

Please tell me the approximate time frame for publishing the source code of COBRA 8.5 and xai_plugin (with current functions)? For some reason testing took a significant amount of time. Perhaps it will be easier to find errors with the source code?

Hi, I can't seem to find the download link to the latest evilnat 4.91 Overclock CEX variant.
I downloaded it some months ago but links seemed to have disappeared.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to get them?
