Jesus that's an incredibly helpful tool to use when stepping away from your console to do other tasks and still be able to monitor it. Thank you for mentioning this!Just open your browser and browse to your PS3's IP address (note: this will not work when playing PS2 games).
No you dont need to reinstal to ofw. Straight install the newest cfw from usb stick...Hi i have a ps3 with evilnat 4.90 CEX Cobra 8.4, what do i have to do to install this update to 4.91? Is it like installing it on an OFW or is it different?
It does not matter at all...Personally, I think it's more efficient using update debug and installing new cfw from the hdd than USB stick.
Like I said, it's more efficient.It does not matter at all...
Is there anything i need to know before installing 4.91, like saving data, game saves, trophies etc, or will everything be left intact?No you dont need to reinstal to ofw. Straight install the newest cfw from usb stick...
And how? it does not matter.you need to copy to hdd and launch from that. install from usb, it copies to hdd and launches automaticaly, i dont see the point wha it is better.Like I said, it's more efficient.

Is there a guide on how to update using the hdd?you can upgrade and downgrade at will, without having to find a usb stick, creating the directory format, and whatnot. I've never heard of someone who's tried it, and decided to go back to the normal way of updating. it's the very reason for setting the qa token in the first place, so you can downgrade and upgrade at any time.
Is there a guide on how to update using the hdd?
I currently have a CEX, do you recommend i install beta 9 which is CEX or beta 10 which is PEX?

Hello, I have a question, I want to overclock the latest BETA 10 using the MFW Builder tool, my question is which system should I use based on 4.XX CEX or 4.XX DEX, I don't know which one to use for CFW PEX BETA 10
ThanksCEX = PEX.
I see that some configuration menus have been added for PS2 games? In particular is there one regarding performance like vsync etc., is there a guide for that? I can't find anything in the changelogs.CEX is the same as PEX, only difference is that PEX has some debug features (like REBUG REX CFW used to have back then).
In any case, once you enable QA Flags you will be able to use the Update debug feature.
