Cobra can now handle changing the RSX's core and memory clock frequency at startup from an overclock.txt file on a USB device

I can add a way for it to load the file from the internal HDD, but be careful when handling frequencies. If any of these crash the PS3 from the USB, simply remove it and restart the PS3. From the internal HDD, Cobra must be disabled by entering Recovery Menu

The file should look like the following example:

700 // Core
850 // Memory

Hey Evilnat, I have a side quest for you if or when you have time! Having an issue when using a ps3 slim 2000 when using the av port and attempting to play a ps2 title on a crt tv. The console shuts down with 3 beeps. everything else works flawlessly over hdmi and even ps3 titles run fine over av on a crt tv. It's purely ps2 titles only for some reason. Any idea?

Hybrid Disc game dump can't boot (Black Screen)

I'm trying to boot these game TSUKIGIME RANKO NO ICHIBAN NAGAIHI [BLJS92001] and Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day [BLES02007]
They are dumped from Hybrid Disc which contains both game and Bluray Movie file.
The ISO can be loaded up just fine, but after I boot the game my console freezed (Black Screen), I'm using PS3 Hen now on a Super Slim (Also tested on CECHA00). webMAN MOD 1.47.48i full version.

Not sure if I provide enough info, sorry.

Solved, I think it's because of bad dump.

It works on HEN and not on CFW?

Why would someone need an outdated version of Cobra? Additionally, these versions are firmware-specific due to their hash checks. Flashing the wrong one hard brick NAND systems and require formatting for NOR systems.

Yeah best to just get rid of them to avoid issues but do we need a newer Cobra for Rebug 4.84 - 4.86+?

There is no need to stay on these firmwares anymore. But you can compile newer cobra for them, on Nat's repo you'll be able to grab at least the 8.3 already compiled for them

Try game_ext_plugin.. unless it's already patched.. I remember remote being very buggy ..

According to devwiki the patch for remote play only works for DISCs, so a new patch is needed for pkgs.

I've updated xai_plugin to 1.24, and I get an error when I try to enable the 2.70 waves option under Cobra tools. Looking at the log, it tells me to check if lines.qrc.mod or lines.qrc.ori exists in dev_blind/vsh/resource/qgl, but the only file there is the regular lines.qrc. I'm already on cobra 8.5, do I need to reinstall it to get the lines.qrc.mod file, or am I supposed to get it from somewhere else? I'm already on evilnat 4.92...

Use the CFW Fixes Installer in xai_plugin at the bottom, reboot the PS3 and try again
