80010017 error for ps3 han exploit : Guitar hero world tour

Hey guys I keep getting
80010017 as an error when I try installing guitar hero world tour. I have installed the game, patch and lic pkgs all signed but to no avail. I do not want to yo download them again to the ps3 as it is a lengthy process. Any help? I would appreciate it thanks.
 
Did you patch updates before splitting the ps3_game folder into blus/npub? Either that, Han is not enabled or the eboot is bad are the problems ive run into that caused that error code

Yup I patched it got two folders N.... and B.... generated a lic folder for it, gave me an error when I tried to use makepkg-backup which was needs icon0.png and param.sfo which I put in there still gave me the error. Resigned it with my idps and act.dat and still nothing I following the steps right I think it could be the eboot but I have no idea how to fix that. :/
 
possibly the eboot. that error is an authentication error usually related to the system not being able to verify the eboot. I think an authentication issue for other encrypted files results in a black screen, so the eboot is most likely what's causing a problem here. that error could be caused by anything related to it though.

ah man thanks for the reply...any ideas on a fix?
 
no idea on that one since it could be a number of things. that error is generic as in not very specific, so you may have to rerip the game.

:/ i really have no way of doing that... although i will be getting a cfw capable ps3 soon is there anyway to rip games via that and send it to my pc to resign?
 
after rereading the op, the problem is probably that the game was downloaded (possibly fixed). you shouldn't have this issue if you rerip the game.

tbh, I'm not sure. it's easy with cfw, but without it, I don't know. with the 360, you need a special burner, so I'd imagine the same would be true of the ps3. however, I know very little about han, so someone else might be able to chime in with that information. :)

Just saying... For HAN users this usually mean that they won't used update eboot.
