PS3 A Loss To The Hacking Community - Ben Byer aka bushing aka @gnihsub Passes Away

I do not know where to start when it comes to news this sad. When a hacker only two years older than I am has passed away. We can remember him when he and his team made the promise that the PlayStation 3 was as hacked as the Wii and they would restore Linux to the PlayStation 3 that Sony took away from us. (aka other OS) Bushing was part of the fail0verflow panel that literally brought us to our knees. Their findings is what has brought us to where we are today. That and what our current developers have brought to the scene is rather remarkable. Bushing.. I commend you. A hacker, as somebody I do not know, but as a friend to the community that you have served. I respect you. May you rest in peace, a friend I wish I had known.

It's a very bad news for the communauty and for his family R.I.P

 

he will dearly be missed. my condolences to his friends and to his family. to me, the members of fail0verflow r like [MENTION=20]habib[/MENTION] , [MENTION=22901]mysis[/MENTION] , [MENTION=29]Joonie[/MENTION] , [MENTION=89]aldostools[/MENTION] , and many others whose dedication and brilliance never cease to amaze me. my heart goes out to him.

 

Wow we have lost quiet a few detrimental influences this year in the digital era. So sad but a part of him will live on with all thethe has brought to not just our community but the many world wide.

Its always very sad if somebody have to leave us its even more worse if you die young
R.i.p its a great loss for hacking community and his Family

 

R.I.P, didn't know him but i feel for his friends and family. I appreciate what he's done and meant to our community. Gone, but never forgotten.
