A noob trying to JB/CFW/HFW 4.86 PS3 Slim :)

Hi everyone.
Just today I have raceived my PS3 Slim CECH-2004A/9C.
It is in 4.86 version. My goal is to be able to play "backup" games.
Is it currently possible to somehow make it CFW or HFW/HEN to be able to do that?
I have read multiple threads on this site but they are usually about older software, at the latest I read about was 4.85 (https://www.psx-place.com/threads/tutorial-ps3hen-the-great-ps3-hen-all-in-one-guide.24369/).
I checked and my model should be able to become CFW. If I go HFW/HEN route - do I have to enable HEN every time I turn on my PS3 or does it auto-enable with every boot? In other words - do I enable it once when I install HEN or do I have to enable it every reboot?

Thanks, it would be very helpfut to get some info, because I be better selling it off than bricking it.

P.S. This forum is pretty huge. Can someone point me towards where I should start with my PS3? Maybe I should do factory reset or smth?

your ps3 is cfw-compatable (hen is not cfw). use this to jailbreak (read the whole thing--make a backup dump before and after flash and check dumps!). when flash is done, reboot then install cfw. rebug is best cfw get it at rebug.me before you start so you got it ready. good luck
